why not at a massive scale??we never seen him using sand after losing shukaku...so we don't know yet..

Sadly without Shukaku it's just a rematch of Sasuke/Gaara chunnin fight except more stomping in Sasuke's favor.

the demon gav him an extra boost.

The only thing Shukaku really did was give him the auto-shield until he transformed. Most of it what he did was Gaara's own power. So he should still be able to replicate most things. He'll just use up a lot of chakra trying to do the shield thing now.
