Bioshock 2

I've been wanting to buy this game, but all I keep hearing, by word of mouth, is that it's nothing more than a rehash with slightly altered story.

True or false?

Any rebuttals?

If you enjoyed the first game there is no reason you won't also enjoy this one. The gameplay is better in many ways. The story/level design isn't as good, but still very solid. Definitely worth playing.

Thank you.

My wife thanks you, too. With her erect nipples.

Show me.

I hate the Kill 'Em Kindly mode in the multiplayer. Sure I get the joke and it seems interesting doing nothing but hit players with a golf club but what's frustarting is that I can't figure out how to charge my attacks. I see everyone keeping their club raised and takes only one hit for them to kill someone while it's taking me two or three hits to kill someone.

I forget what happened in this game.

While it was done well, (not too the first game standards though), the game for me is utterly forgettable. I just felt I played the exact same game before and nothing exciting was added.

Funny, I find it easily comparable to the first, if it is not as good it is only due to the noticeable lack of Andrew Ryan in comparison to the first.

I like my sequels to be a bit different and better than the first. If the game doesn't add anything new, I'm less likely to enjoy it.

The game added nothing aside from a few frivolous additions.

What annoys me about games with multiplayer and short single player stories is that most DLC is dedicated to the friggin multiplayer while the single player mode is not having any sort of expansion whatsoever.
