No they don't.
You mean they block everything?
At least Captain Marvel (Photon) seemed to have no problems going through them in her light form when Magneto fought the Avengers.
I don't see why they would block telepathy either, but in that case he has his helmet and natural resistance of course.

Oh, those sheilds. those only apply to physical contact. But i have to admit, not many people have had enough training to resist Xavier's telepathy, or Karma's possesion. OMG. Magneto actually just impressed me. 😑
Also I like how you say his shield only protects against physical attacks when the second scan I posted shows a non-physical attack.

They don't block everything but they're damn good. As for telepathy it's gotten through his shields and passed through his helmet before it depends on the writer because the opposite is true too. But since Morrisons run his helmet has been able to block everything. Fraction has reiterated that point recently and as you'll see in an upcoming issue none of the X-telepaths (Not Emma, Charles, Psylocke or the Cuckoos who recently defeated Kid Omega) will be able to read what the hell he's doing on top of San Francisco bridge. My guess is it's going to be a solar system spanning feat like in Avengers v1 47 where he travels on a magnetic bridge generated by the Black Knights machine across solar systems to get back to Earth.
But yeah sure, Emma can get 1/10 with that M feat if she's lucky.
As for current Magneto if you asked me last week I would have said she'd stomp him. But after Fractions recent interview I'll reserve judgement until Uncanny X-Men #522.

Great! Kitty is one of my favourite characters, if not my top one.I don't get that Magneto brings her back though. The likes of Mr Fantastic wasn't sure how to rescue her/stop that bullet so it'll be interesting to see how that plays out.

If she's lucky are key words there🙂 That feat was pretty close range one, and I've already said Ems needs perfect timing. Though Ems absolutely owns Mags on his worst day, but
Spoiler:makes it questionable that it wasn't just an act.
