Anyone else sick of all the Obama threads?

I don't really understand the comparisons between Obama and Hitler, but I've heard it a few times. Could someone explain? From what I've read about Obama, and listening to his speech, I feel a certain amount of hope that he will bring about positive change. Clearly the previous government are doing something, or a lot of things, very wrong, and seem to have brought America as low as it can go.

Also, to the point of the thread, no, I'm not sick of Obama threads personally. I find them quite interesting. [ and occasionally disturbing with some of the more blatant racism]

I sure hope Obama officiates more from a center/bipartisan position. If he doesn't, some of those critical threads may hold substance, but most of the tripe in the racist threads never will. (I said "most" not because some of the racist things are right, but because some of the things said BY the racists could be right....I can't damn all the threads and get away with being correct.)

The general idea is that they both energized the youth group in their countries, and that both were captivating speakers. Also, the more republicans compare Obama to Hitler and Osama Bin Laden, the more truthy their claims become- right?

(I'm a bleeding heart liberal and the republican scare tactics sicken me.)

I'm not sure if your dense, but we've had this conversation before. I am one of those who stands up for my whiteness when racism comes my way. I call B.S. on African Americans when they cry "racism" left and right when the perpetuate the very thing they decry. I don't like racism, no matter where it comes from, spideydude.

yes, it is probably impossible for any person to avoid stereotyping or the occasional racist thought

It is another thing entirely to forge a world-view and politic around those ideas. 😉

It must just be where you live, because I've never seen someone trashed for talking about being proud of their heritage, be they white, black, asian, etc.

not saying all blacks cause crime yes theres some good ones and bad ones just like whites. theres some good ones and bad ones.

its just i stand up for myself when i get put down by another race.

There was nothing similar about the speaking styles of the two men.

However, this looks to be a pretty substantive redirect link from the offical Obama website, whitehouse.gov and the congressional website. It's official folks! The lazy nergos can take one more day of doing nothing for their country, other than taking advantage of it as a race, onto their crowded schedule of going to prison, voting for black men, cashing their welfare checks and frying everything they eat.

I like that it's an article from the Topeka(Kansas) Capital-Journal. I give it a matter of hours before Mr. America here posts a link to the article on the home page about Gun Sales skyrocketing because Obama has been elected President.
