What a complete non sequitur! Nice way to twist my argument so it means something utterly different to what I said. Knowing what happens to PADME is not vital to the rest of the story. OBVIOUSLY knowing how Obi-Wan, Anakin and Yoda get into the situations we see them in by the time of the Original Triology IS.
We know Padme dies when Leia is young, as said in ROTJ. That is all we need to know.
