Sabretooth mind is hard to control its bn shown repeatedly... although, it can be done telling sabe to stand down and hurt himself is very unlikely and aint gonna happen...
the one person with telepathic powers to control save was in an old wolvie Vol2 comic issue # 63 or 64... the guy was a powerful telepath whose powers were enhanced by his cyborg armor. the guy was powerful enough to mask his psi signature from cerebro, xavier and jean for decades...his name was psi - borg and he was responsible for the weapon X memory implants..
he had to use all his will to take control of sabe and even then in order to get him to do what he wanted, he made him relive the moment he killed silver fox in order for him to kill the present Silver Fox since Sabe was acting within his nature... Wolverine angry at sabe attacking SF he gutted Sabe which broke the mind link/control..
so managing to control sabe and then gutting him inducing pain would break the hypnoses.... i dont see it being a viable tactic for dracs...
