Girls - Nada for over a year. Haven't been bothered. I've been enjoying me time since the last messy brake up. Summer is here though, and I now have no excuse. Plus I'm starting to get shit from my friends for being single for too long. 😂 Bastards with their sex on tap.
Work - I just quit my job a couple of weeks ago. Sick of working in a liquor store in a low socioeconomic area, waiting to get stabbed and robbed 😛. I'm looking for work as a carer now as I am half way through my degree and am technically a qualified carer. One more semester and I will have the same qualifications as an Enrolled Nurse, so I'll get a job as one while I finish my 3rd year. It's a good way to get experience and definitely a great way to get paid 😛. The pay is awesome. For the moment though, since exams finished I'm enjoying a few weeks off without work or uni, which is something i haven't had the pleasure of doing in nearly 3 years. Good thing I had money saved.

Getting back in to DJing now that I have some free time again. Have recently bought a MIDI keyboard so I can try making music of my own. Still learning though.
Apart from all that, just being my usual self, training in weights, and Jiu-Jitsu, taking a few weeks off the latter due to a back injury and till I find another job.

As for me...
I broke up with a boyfriend of about 2 years just this past summer for me, so your winter, while I was away working in the states. Was hard to accept at first, kind of blindsided me, but was definitely for the better and necessary. Kind of hurts that he did it though. Really wounded my pride if nothing else haha.
I have a new one now, met at school through a friend, he's very good and kind to me, and I'm really attracted to him, but I'm kind of missing that spark right now, some deeper connection more than dating, you know something special, that one moment where you know it's right. I'm hoping it'll come, because the sparks were a huge part of my last relationship and they're very important to me.
I'm in school as we speak, finishing my first semester of my third year. Have exams starting this week actually. I kind of lost my motivation though if I'm honest, been a bit bored lately with it. I think I want a different life than something so traditional as school then career then family....
As for work, I don't work while I'm at school, I just take leaves for the months I'm away. But as soon as exams pass I'll be back at work at a home furnishings store. It's nothing major, but gives me some cash. This summer I'm going back to the states to work as a counselor for another year though.
Other than that the past year has been full of travel, went to England, New York, Pennsylvania, Quebec, Connecticut.
I'm turning 21 in March and I hope m 21st year is filled with even more travel than all the years before it combined!

I know exactly how you feel. Mine was out of left field too, at least for me it was. It was losing that connection for me too that knocked me on my ass for quite some time. I had a lot of love to give, and having that opportunity taken away from you like that was heartbreaking. This is why I haven't really bothered looking for the past year. However, it's time to get back out there and look for something like that again. ✅ I'm glad to hear you've found someone that treats you the way you deserve to be treated, but why no spark? :confusion:

Once again, we're on the same wavelength here. As much as I love Uni, and know it's for the best I get distracted and bored with it easily. It seems to me like once I finish it I'll be expected to get married, buy a house and have a family. I'd much rather finish it and just go somewhere else for a while. Wherever, I was thinking Japan or Canada and the US, Most likely Canada as I have some friends that are planning to go up there at the same time as I graduate. Don't get me wrong, a family would be great, but I'm not ready for that yet, and I don't think I will be for a few years to come. I'm too much of a kid at heart still.
