Maiden stood by the door, watching everyone quietly as she waited. She was nervous. Something in her gut made her think that they just walked into a trap, and it was all her fault.
Jezebel rode quietly home, eager to see Tig'Lath after her long mission. She was being escorted by hundreds of 'new recruits.' All of which were either ghostly apparitions on horseback, or decaying foot soldiers. At her arrival, a guard went to inform Tig'Lath that she was home.
Sekh'ta,Centurion of the Sydau'ka, looked in to Tig'laths yurt(Tent) . "Permission to enter My Lord" he said in hopes he was not interrupting. "Come in! What news do you have Centurion" Tig'lath said expecting to hear that the Saurians were attacking. Sekh'ta continued "Jezebel is entering the camp" Tig'laths red eyes light up. She had been gone a while and he was not sure she would return alive. Tig'lath thought to himself. 'Foolish i was to consider that anyone could destroy her'.. "Outstanding" Tig'lath exclaimed "I will go and great her."
Tig'lath entered out into the cold night . The flickering of camp fires were casting ominous shadows against her Silhouette. When he saw Her, He could see she had a Legion of undead with her. "Jezebel never disappoints" Tig'lath said under his breath and then he shouted "Come my Demoness, Find warmth and Solace in my Yurt. Your company has been missed. We have much to discuss" Tig'lath said trying to maintain His composure. He always lost himself a little in her presence. She was equally as ambitious as him and twice as ruthless. She was Perfect.
Aeris woke up agian stuck in his damned cell. *people watch me, they stare at me like im a monster or like im a show. There the monsters and there the show !* He closed his eyes and tried to remember the time before he was taken in. He despiratly wanted his Lexicon. If he hadent gotten that taken away he could have easily breaken free. To an extent. * i cant die here not now. Gatta think , how is the best way to expect* Aeris looked around.
As Tig'lath and Jezebel entered the yurt, he saw Kydn'zar and Sekh'ta discussing the order of battle . "Be Gone" Tig'lath Roared. With that, they both stood and simultaneously thumped their chest in salute and said "Yes My Lord" and hurriedly made their way out.
Tig'lath, in his yearning to be with Jezebel, grabbed her arm firmly,as she was faced away, and spun her around to attempted to Kiss her.
Zatri had quickly followed with the others as they entered the temple not caring whether they left their weapons behind ore not their abilities was from his point of view far more dangerous then any weapon, and yet he had felt that they were like a offering gift being presented to the very being they where hunting, ore were it hunting them? The question had puzzled him, if devoured Cosmic Power hence it had no reason to run from them rather it would seek towards them and it would without a doubt try to get their energy for itself, and what better place to attack them then here, in the middle of it's own worshippers? Zatri shoke his head, he was just being paranoid the chances that the Creature would care about them when such a being as the Skyfather existed was unlikely.
As he stood waiting with the group he spoke silently into the nothingness.
"I have a bad feeling about this"
And Zatri began looking nervously around the chamber they where located in.
Tig'lath growled menacingly, showing his teeth. He thought to himself. *How is it that this creature can have such power over me* He didn't like the weakness that she imposed on him but, he loved her and would Kill or Die for her.
Tig'lath , controlling his anger spoke. "What is it you require my vicious lovely? You have but to ask and it is yours but ,make haste in your requests and tempt me not. You have been gone many moons and my yearning to feel your flesh is great." Tig'lath said, impatient to have her.
Tig'lath, without hesitation, embraced Jezebel forcefully. All thought of World Domination and its carnage fled his mind. He was in his loves arms at last.
While Jezebel slept, Tig'lath stepped outside and hailed Kydn'zar. With a quickness Kydn'zar appeared. "What news did she have My Lord" He said hoping to hear something of the New menace. "She is resting" Tig'lath said annoyed "We will hold council in the morning. I summoned you here to give me the number of undead she recruited." "Oh yes My Lord" Kydn'zar replied humbly "I have the count Sir. It is close to 500 and every Human village within 50 miles has come to pledge their loyalty , in fear of your onslaught" Kydn'zar said, proud to give such good news. He continued "That brings our Human allies up to 1,500 crossbowmen"
"Haah!!" Tig'lath exclaimed, gripping Kydn'zar's shoulders. "Our Legend is far reaching my Friend. The Army grows stronger by the minute. This is great news. Now go rest. We will speak with Jezebel in the morning. Depending on what she has to say is how we will plan our next course of action." Whith that , Kydn'zar bid his lord good night and Tig'lath went inside to get a peaceful night sleep with his companion in Domination at his side.
Naeleth was down in his secret laboratory working on a cure for Rolande's blindness. His location was disclosed to no one, not even the king himself knew of its location. Inside he is conducting an extremely horrible experiment. This is something he hasn't done in a very long time but his situation calls for such acts of desperation. He has a child with cosmic blood on the table who's entire chest cavity is cut wide open. They're blood and powers prevents the child from falling asleep despite heavy amounts of anesthesia Naeleth gave him. All you can hear from him is cries of pain, but Naeleth's determination die hard conviction blocks out all cries for mercy. A child's death means nothing to him as long as he is able to repay his debt to Rolande, she lost everything as a child because of his actions. Her family died because of his forced labor.
He comes closer and closer to finding what he is looking for, this child's physiology was fascinating. Naeleth was amazed but still stayed focused and determined to find the cure in this child's blood. However success is very rare with most experiments as shown with this one. The boy dies and his powers dissipitate. Naeleth's failure leaves him puzzled, however he disposes of the body and leaves no trace of evidence. He sits on the ground covered in blood. He wipes his face off and begins to think out loud.
"I am beginning to think that I have been going at this the wrong way. Maybe you can't find a cure in cosmic blood. I suppose that healing is not their forte, still I guess that my experiments on their kind have beared such wonderful fruits. Perhaps I should have that Zatri fellow on this table, hahaha! Anyway time for me to get cleaned up and train a bit. I'll talk to a few people later on a means of a cure."
Though he seems like a monster with the things he does down here, most of them are done with all good intentions, luckily for him no one knows of his horrible experiments. Naeleth shuts the lights off and locks his lab up once again to resume to his public life once again. Now it is time for his hand-to-hand and weapon training. He however notices Maiden's current situation and laughs a bit to himself.
Pierce smiled and pulled a lever in the hallway and began to laugh, as soon as the lever was down the door sealed shut. The chaniting from outside had gotten louder as a gassey substance filled the room rendering everyone in it unconcious.
tsecti and Kiryu awoke an hour later in a large room suspending above ground in cages. Each member of the group was in a seperate one and another man was in on as well. The ground and walls had blood everywhere and therer were two large gates on opposite walls; high above ground was a balcony where pierce and many of his men sat in chairs infront of a stairwell. Tsecti growled and grabbed the bars in an attempt to break them open but they didn't budge.
Pierce laughed
"Foolish suarian, these cages are enchanted neither ur strength or your cosmic blood can break them. They are created by true magic from long before we developed cosmic powers."
Kiryu just stood with his hand against his chin like he was thinking about something.
Antonio was upset with himself for letting this happen. He knew that Pierce couldn't be trusted the moment he set eyes on him and he did feel as if this was a trap the moment entrance was gained. He looked around his cage and was trying to find a way out when he heard Maiden and Kiryu talking.
"How were you supposed to know that this was a trap, Maiden," Antonio tried to comfort her. "And besides, all leaders make mistakes sometimes. You're new to this whole gig just like the rest of us. Mistakes will happen. We just have to figure out what to do next."
But nothing was coming to Antonio's mind seeing as brute strength or their powers weren't going to help? "Does anyone know magic," he questioned with a look of stupefied doubt on his face.
