Xania had woken up as well. Her head was throbbing. She knew she had not been physically knocked out, but the gas caused her to have a weird reaction.
Even in her unconscious state she had been coughing as if the gas were trapped in her lungs. When sheopened her eyes they watered. What she could not see was they had completely changed color. Now her eyes were a bright honey color and pupil-less.
Something inside Xania had snapped. She snorted at Pierce’s little speech. She was not going to be anyone’s sacrifice. “I have no cosmic blood. Your sacrifice will be in vain.” She sneered at Piece. Heer chin held high.

"I see your travels left you no worse for the wear" Tig'lath said, as he entered the yurt with a tray of food in his hand, noticing Jezebels creamy pale skin in its flawlessness as she dressed. He continued,setting the tray down "I Will summon Kydn'zar and Sekh'ta for council but first you must be hungry. I have brought your favorite selections to eat." Tig'lath said proudly, for he had prepared it himself, not trusting anyone else to do so for fear of a jealous Centurions poisoning her.
As Jezebel ate, Tig'lath explained the circumstances. "The Army is growing by the minute. We are close to 20,000 strong now. I had planed to capture the Inventor to help in building us war machines and Flying vehicles, to assist in our subjugation's but, we have found that she is in the Saurain tunnels, protected by The Seer." Tig'lath said disappointed at the situation. "We will not be able to see our dreams of Conquest come to fruition without the aide of technology and Magic. Ground dwellers are no match for us but we have the Rakayats and this new Menace absorbing the cosmic energy to address." Tig'lath paused, watching Jezebel seductively enjoy her food. "I was in hopes that you would have news of this Creature and an Idea of how we can either harness its power or destroy it. The Seer and The Creature pose a daunting obstacle for both of us."
Zatri opened his eyes and jumped to his feets when he heard the roar, at least that was what he tried, instead he banged his head against the upper part of the cage dazzled he tumbled into the side of the cage making it swing slowly back and forward, as his mind and eyes became clear, it became quiet obvious that they had been tricked, Zatri began to, in a low voice, curse himself and his ideals, he could have entered the mind of the leader he could have altered the ideas of the leader, but instead Zatri choosed to keep his thoughts away from others, not wanting to discreminate them, while the thoughts razed through his head he looked around and saw the others trapped in cages like himself hanging over the air, he then remembered the roar and looked down towards the ground only to see a horrorfying creature. This couldn't be good.

Tsecti shrugged and eyed the stranger"how?"
"I'm going to have to agree with Aeris," Antonio said with more positive than he felt. "We are a team and teams face stuff like this all the time. Plus with all our powers, how bad could it be?"
As soon as he said that, the chimera let out such a loud and forceful roar that the cages actually blew wobbled. "I stand corrected. But we can still fight until the death just like Aeris said. I mean, we all have to die at some point in time, right?"
He then looked over to Pierce and shouted, "Are you going to let us out or what? We very well don't want to sit here all day and smell those things."
pierce smiled and called out to one his men
"You heard him, open the cages" One of the cloaked men opened pulled a lever and the bottom of the cages fell out dropping all of the too the floor below, causing the chimera and demon to growl as the walked towards them.
Kiryu shot energy out of his feet and flew up towards pierce but hit an invisible forcefield and crashed back to the floor. Pierce just laughed
"You can't up here with out going through those gates first, which only open if the creatures die or kill you" He then slowly walked out through the door leaving just the cheering crowd of cultists.
Jez smiled and sat back, taking her time to talk as she ate. "Well my dear.. It just so happens... That you won't be dissapointed.. I know of the creature.... And of his people." She glanced up to see if she had his attention. "The monster we do not want to kill... His power is limitless and he can use it to make other creatures do his bidding.... As for his worshipers... The leaders name is Pierce... And I think our alligence with him would be most helpfull... We will go see him, and I will use my 'diplomatic' skills to make him see it our way... Did I dissapoint you, or is this information helpfull?" She grinned playfully and waited for his praise.
Maiden landed on her feet, closer to the mystery monster then the Chimera. She looked over at Tsecti, too afraid that she would cause the creature to pounce if she were to move .
Aeris got up. His back hurt. He got up and looked at the beast * o shit * He looked around. * what the hell can wer all do * He looked at everyone else. * if only i had my Lexicon and knives. All i would ever need unless...* He looked around for a weapon, any. He could even make stuff with just a piece of metal. He knew how to fight one on one but this was a bit different.
Arnak fell and rolled with the impact of the fall. He yells for his powers activation but its been too long since the last time he used them. He begins to back, back a bit.
"Uh...yeah, its been a while since I actually fought these things. Does anyone mind watching my back as I rejuvenate my powers"
As soon as he said that he retreated to a corner and knelt in prayer.
"Whoa," was all Antonio could say when the cages fell open. His eyes were closed as he was preparing to hit the ground hard but realized that the ground never came. As he opened his eyes, he saw that he was actually hovering a few feet off of the ground. Now that's new, he thought to himself.
When the beast roared again, he then fell to the ground unexpectedly. As he got up, he looked over to see Maiden and Aeris. The latter appeared to be looking for something. The beast then lunched towards them with teeth bared ready for dinner. "Not today," Antonio said as he created a shield right in front of the two.
When the creature hit it, the shield cracked and blinked a little but stayed in place. Antonio was forced to his knees by the impact, however. He then heard the guy who called himself Arnak ask for protection. "What do you mean [i]'watch your back,'[i/] Antonio yelled to him as the boy ran to a corner and knelt down.
The creature then hit the shield again, this time breaking through it. Antonio's reflexes were more refined and quicker since he got out of the hospital and he sent a ball of energy right towards the creature just as it was about devour Aeris and Maiden. It hit the ground and exploded sending the two flying back and away fro the creature.
