that's when he's sitting around scratching his arse, though... he's travelled and reacted at lightspeed before, so while he might think at the speed of sound in general, i don't see him as being restricted to that, as any time he went above it, he'd crash into a wall...

I dunno. Do comics have to make sense? Marvel has that whole levels of infinity thing. And DC has the whole "infinity isn't really infinity because I can eat all but three of them" thing. Why does the speed of sound thing need a coherent basis? He mentions it twice that I know of. Can't find the second instance, though.

it doesn't mean its my limit, as i've never tried it with three...
best example i could come up with, tbh...
it could be that wally's default thinking speed is the speed of sound, but increases as he gets faster, as he has moved and reacted at faster speeds...
