The story takes place 10 years after Superman leaves Earth. It was basically the last PC story written. But non-canon.

Also I disagree. Saving one life is better than not saving any. Supes will make the choice. He has to what do you expect him to do nothing.

Or errbody dies. Mxy already said he ain't playin'. & this was while he was wrapped in the lasso so he was telling the truth(the lasso does work on Mxy doesn't it?). He'll do it, man. Believe me, he'll do it!

If glads can garuntee the safety of the shair empire (only way to not fight it out) he would concede from the fight. Unfortunately its a choice one or the other. Supes will die. Glads takes it 10/10 not easily in fact it will be the hardest fight of his life, and winning.
