Biggest blunders & missed opportunities in Comic History?

JSA kinda takes care of itself, though, even before Johns' run. I think the writers have too much fear and/or respect for a lot of the golden oldies to put their own personal spin on things (i.e. f*ck it up)

But yeah, any other book that loses Johns is screwed.

By 'before Johns run", do you mean the 8 issue mini from Robinson? Because JSA couldn't carry a title until Johns came along.

Johns wrote pretty much the entire last series, debuting on issue 3, and writing all but a few filler issues until 87, then started off the new one.

Hopefully they let Johns off Green Lantern.
why would you wish that?

cos he's tired of nobody wanking kyle. or hal being wanked over kyle.

dirtier than i'd intended, tbh...

Oh right! Kyle...another blunder and travesty!

Just like Damian Wayne...blah!

i guess i have to wait til the end to withhold judgment but for right now im thinking the whole krptonian debacle thats ongoing in DC at this moment.....sure for all intents and purposes history have shown us that there isnt any overt attack on kryptonians that dont involve obsessive characters like luthor, waller and lois lane's dada but to have the kryptonians be complete assholes in the meantime doesnt solicit sympathy from me any...they are advanced enuff to just say screw it, and lift the entire city out of orbit and build a new krypton or at th e very least kandor somewhere else, but noooooooo! even b4 the ***** move that was pullled on them by the P.T.Be they were planning to subjugate humanity

Because I hate everything.

If Dan Didio screws over Final Crisis by making Grant rewrite the ending, it will top everything on the last two pages. Especially because Grant might ditch DC over it. 👇 uhuh

Why didn't you just say half of everything Marvel and Dc have done? Woulda saved you a lot of typing to type in the things you liked from both companies. 😛

Clone Saga.
OMD.
Supes Returns aka The weightlifting movie
Wolverine 3
Elektra
Catwoman
Superman pulling off stupid feats like being a tank while being poisoned by Kryp. AND having a heart attack
Wolvie surviving a nuke and somehow stabbing Spidey during a training session & taking hits from Namor w/out flying.
DC wanking their holy trinity @the expense of everybody & everything else(mainly the story)
Having replacable Flashes & GLs, but still the same Supes, Bats & WW.
T-VO & anytime Supes looks superior to MM or Cap. Marvel
Kevin Smith taking time off from writing a great Spidey series: "The Evil That Men Do" to make...........Jersey Girl 😐
Thor losing to Supes in JLA/Avengers.
Batman not getting owned by Cap in the same series, which led some fanboys to say stupid shit like, "Batman was lying" 😐
Deathstroke looking formidable as hell against a team full of metas & then being incompetent against Batman.
Robin (Tim Drake) being alive.
J.Stewart not being as cool as he is on JLU.
Batman still being irresponsible enough to have lil' kids fight grown men w/guns.
Hal being alive.(Only cool when he's punching Bats in the face).
Marvel not promoting either Punisher movie enough.
Letting Rob Liefield draw anything.
B.Panther's mask in the Ultimate Avengers movie.
No U.S.(Udon) made books for the Capcom vs. SNK series.
Taskmaster wearing his old costume.
The Iron Spidey Suit.
Whoring Spidey out & giving him organics so he could be more like the movie.
Making Beast look so stupid.
Letting F.Quietly draw anything.
DC not letting Marvel handle the Batman/Daredevil book.
Batman Beyond being canceled
MTV showing the Spidey episodes out of order 😠

But there are loads of things the companies have done that have been great. But some of the blunders mentioned are serious **** ups.

On the whole I agree, except for the following examples above.

First time I've ever heard anyone cry about Zero Hour.

😑 Man...

...just go out on a date, already.

I'm going to assume that was a joke

We don't have to rag on him simply because he put some thought into his post 😄

Mate i've heard a lot of people moan about it. Its Just a very boring storyline. I mean people complain about how bad crossovers such as secret Invasion and Civil War, but Zero hour is on a whole new level of mediocrity. Whatever happened to Dan Jurgens ? He was once a quite good writer ?
