And FYI Varnae wwas a gaint pink bloated blob for the vast majority of his appearances and never used a sword until Blade the Vampire Hunter. I wouldn't think his skills are all that impressive.

The reason why Blade beating a vampire is not a contradiction is because skill levels vary. Blade maybe highly skilled but he is more skilled than most vampires and humans.

If a human is very very very highly skilled you can beat superhumans but if a superhuman was as highly skilled on the same level as a vampire the vampire would win..thats how Cap can beat Spiderman. Spiderman may have highier stats but Cap is vastly more skilled, thats how human Blade wins, he may not have superhuman stats but his skill level alllows him to win, but most humans arent as skilled as he is.
