Souther vs Saiyan Saga Goku

This is pre-death Goku, no Kamehameha strict H2H.

Souther...as in the Nanto user from Hokuto No Ken?

That's king of nanto.

Does Souther get to use his Nanto moves to stab through Gokou? If so I can see him taking it maybe. If not Gokou wins.

Don't know him, is he fast/strong enough? is he the best martial artist in his universe?

Not really the best in his universe but the best of his style. And he's fast enough to get pre-death Gokou. He's also got the strength.

I just realized I read the title wrong, I was wondering what was going on. For some reason I read it as Super Sayain Goku. So this must be before Raditz kills him, Goku. I know a bit about Kenshiro but yeah I don't know enough about this guy.

Oh no, it would be a stomp if I pitted him against a SSJ.

Stamina wise after training with Kami Goku is above anythign the earth can dish to him, he almost easily outperfoms piccolo jr, who was more powerful than king piccolo, king piccolo who dished out ne leve attacks, some of which the explosion itself engulfed him without leaving a mark!!

Yea Souther is the guy Ken fights at the Pyramid.

No it's not. Cause Gokou still has his speed, flight, and martial arts. It'd be more akin to saying Superman without using flight or heat vision.

This isn't even a stomp for Goku seeing as Souther has speed as well and can become intangible. Taking away his Kamehameha makes it more balanced seeing as Souther has no projectiles or energy attacks at all.

Goku would win, he is faster and he can fly, also Souther's moves are based on cutting and not pressure points, so he can't really break through Goku's durability

Since when could Souther become intangible?

Only Kenshiro and Raoh could do that with Muso Tensei

I think Souther could cut him. He can cut Kenshiro who has enhanced durablity. Note: I'm not saying the two are equally durable and Souther can cut rock, stone pillars and mountains so I think he could cut him. He also does punch as well.

Just FYI, the anime isn't canon, show me a scan from the manga where he becomes intangible

Because Gokou's blunt force, and piercing durability doesn't equal his energy durability for one.

Besides that Jagi was able to bend steel with a punch before if I recall right when Ken was named successor and Jagi went to tell Raoh, and Toki. And Souther is much stronger physically than Jagi. Back that strength up with his Nanto style and his speed I don't see why he can't pierce Gokou.

Yea he's durable to piercing sure but just because he can tank city busting energy attacks doesn't equal to him being immune to being cut. Vegeta was cut by a normal sword though he was weakened. He's also durable to blunt force depending on how powerful the person is. I don't really remember anybody with that much strength trying to slice him.

Honestly, Souther was only a real threat due to his reversed pressure points, once Kenshiro figured that out he was done for

He was still stronger than all the other Nanto users and Jagi (though who isn't better than Jagi?). None of the Nanto users are really a threat to Ken anyways. Doesn't make them weak. In front of Hokutoshinken pretty much anybody who can't dodge Ken is going to be screwed.

Jyuuza was way more impressive than Souther
