I already, plain as day, indicated that I left a residual end quote tag in my post.
I was complaining that he didn't preview his post to catch that. He leaves tons of [ /b] through out his posts and some are extraneous. I'm fine with that. I just delete the messed up ones when I go to quote.
I was just complaining that he didn't catch that and it makes a mess of things. True that I could have prevented the mess.

Those tags mean that they closed the quote that was opened with the quote code at the beginning of your post. Anything before those quote tags was now counted as one quote, and the rest of your post counted as new. So when I quoted YOUR post, it naturally messed up because that comes with another set of closed quote tags at the end of the whole post.
So no, you didn't correctly display it, you messed up the tagging and, as a result, it was messed up further when I quoted you. It had nothing to do with me.
You then did it again when pointing out that I "fail".
Salvage a little pride or dignity; just go reply to my PM, Dude.

Wow. You wasted a lot of time by doing that.
Granted, you may have started on that well before you saw my post to Bardock about my clearly leaving in a residual tag.
In that case, I can't dock you for that wasted post.
If you did see that post, then you wasted an absurd amount of time to make no point.
Just simply hit the "preview reply" to make sure it isn't messed up.
