I'm sorry let me correct myself.

I tend to not hang out with people who are overly religious. The God fearing, Bible reading, the rapture is upon us, types.

Not because they're bad people. They just tend to try and judge me or try to change me. I guess growing up with those types of people have turned me off to them.

Now that you've better explained what you meant, I agree 😄

I don't dislike any of them, I just get annoyed by them sometimes. I'd rather be around an atheist who doesn't have to bring up religion every five seconds. Sad, because I'm a very active Christian. Does that make me a jerk? Prolly. 😆

From my experience, its the atheists who like to bring it up more!

Then again, it really does vary on the context in which you mingle, most of my friends don't believe in God and if they do its more of a deistic concept...but I guess that is just how it is.

that doesnt make you a jerk...pewpy balls makes u a jerk..lol..jus kiddin(thats classic though..I dont think any one else will put that under their location) but I feel the same way as you but I run into the problem of what GMG said most atheist folk I know bring it up to much...via I became a hermit cause I just dont like hearing it...I come on KMC and hit the religion forum when I want to hear it...lol..nah there are really intelligent people in those forums just a "few" thumpers...

I don't know if atheists bring it up more, I kinda think that Religious people bring religion up in a different way than atheists. But you are right about the circles you associate in.

Glad you posted Bardock "some" atheists is what i should have said...not trying to disagree with u either GMG just a couple old friends came to mind.I know Im ice skating uphill here as I said "most" in my last post...thats not true...sorry folks wasnt picking on atheists....saying atheists bring it up more is untrue..everyone has there beliefs and all express them when they want too..Im an azzhole sorry...just when I saw GMG's post it reminded me of some heated non internet face 2 face debates with a couple atheists who are friends just we dont discuss it anymore as neither of us have proof of $hit..lol...anyways back to my drink

At least for drug dealers, in my experience as someone who did sell weed out of my backpack, and as someone who knows many people who used to and or still do sell sell drugs, most of the time it's not a business that people see as something they would want to do all their life, unless they've seen Scarface too many times. But, in general, most drug dealers started when they were kids and young and impressionable. My brother in law started me selling weed when I was nine years old, in the fourth grade. Fortunately for me I moved in with my dad a couple years later into a better neighborhood and so eventually I had a better influence. But for a lot of people that's not the case, and the problem is that when people grow up experiencing drugs and the life style that surrounds it they think that that's just how life is. If you're a bit older and you get some of the money and you can use it to help yourself and your family than it's seen as an even more necessary evil. Eventually you can get a new life and get a job, like I did, but if you sucked in school and doing that sort of thing is all you know, why bother? If I hadn't moved away from Oakland there's a possibility that I'd still sell drugs, probably more than just weed, I'd still be in a gang and I might be a drop out.

To summarize, I feel that gang bangers and drug dealers are more just a casualty of society and nothing more. Do they continue the cycle? Yes. Do they hurt people? Yes. Does that make them inehrently bad people? No. Not usually. From a drug dealers perspective, selling drugs= money. Selling drugs for a gang= protection for you andor your family. Two very important things when you live in a place where you can be killed for being the wrong place at the wrong time.

However, I despise people who do it to just be "gangsta", or whatever the **** it's called. Especially people who've never lived in actual conditions that most real gangsters lived in. In reality real poor people who live in the ghetto don't wear 90 dollars sneakers and have spinners, because they can't afford them. I was in a gang but I was wearing some shitty new balance.

in my experiance they start thinking its cool, but then see no reason to stop it. They feel why punch a clock when i get more cash like this, ts never about not being able to because you are always able to work hard and pull through. And the gangs that start out to protect themselves and their neighbos soon descend to the ones destroying others family and neihborhoods overtime. While most arnt bad people, drug deals and gangbangers make alot of bad choices that others should take into consideration.

It also depends who they sell the drugs to

^ Logic.

I've never judged someone based on their occupation.... most of the time I don't know people's occupations, so I have no starting point to even go by... not that it matters anyway, why should it?

I'm an amateur porn star? What of it? You guys gonna treat me differently now?? Doubt it, for those that do... why? What point is there?

One of the smartest men in the world is a bouncer

and one of the dumbest is a president whats your point?

bouncers can be kewl?
