I noticed that you're just assuming. You've been doin that since you came in here.
The fact of that matter is that WBN DOES need to be impressive to Wolverine to win this.
At his best he'd be able to overpower Wolverine sure. But so what? Wolverine isn't going to try to wrestle a werewolf into submission, or match it's strength. It's not how Wolverine operates when up against another feral opponent. Werewolf by Night ONLY has a strength advantage here. Do you honestly think he can pull off choking Wolverine for a win? He'd get his arm hacked off or gutted in the process. The last time a full blown Werewolf got in close with Wolverine he ended up with claws shoved up through his face.... and the thing is... That werewolf at least had a magic unlimited healing factor. While WBN has the ability to regenerate, it's rather unimpressive. He's been knocked out by a bullet graze, dropped by a tranquilizer, rendered unconcious by a bear hug from a normal guy, and sent running by a knife wound. He's simply not up to the task of taking what Logan can dish out. He doesn't have the speed, or the skill to avoid what Logan's packing either.
There was no specification for the chains, handcuffs, circus bars, or other chains that have imprisoned him. Considering that Jack imprisoned himself on at least one of those occasions, it's pretty clear it wasn't expensive material. As for the Sabes fight. It's hardly as one sided as you're presenting the fight. He got an advantage over Sabretooth sure.... but Sabretooth did land more hits and was tossing WBN around as well, he just got caught in a bad position, and yes he lost. But.... you're assuming as well that WBN could legitimately end Sabretooth there. Aside from the fact that a bite to Sabes face isn't exactly going to do what Wolverine's six claws couldn't do, Sabretooth was actually in a better position to defend himself as he could use his legs since he wasn't grounded like WBN was. At any rate that was against a Sabretooth who was aprroximately 3 times weaker than he is now in every regard. Current Sabretooth or even Sabretooth post Death Hunt would ****. WBN. UP. 😐
as I said before, I dont really know, I was only arguing based on the scans presented, do you have any scans of werewolf by nights lower performances?
as for his varying strength levels, isn't he only at peak performance under a full-moon? so inside a building he'd be weaker, wouldnt he?
as for his speed, in the mini didnt werewolves keep up with wolverine in their fights, plus werewolf by nights range should help here, and make up for wolverines claws.

lol No being inside has no effect on his performance. The full of the moon as a correlation to the magic. He was outnumbered and slightly distracted.
His range won't help. It barely helps an enhanced creed. Or Hunter In Darkness.
but didnt they keep up with him in terms of speed?
how won't it help, he'll be able to strike at wolverines vitals, while wolverine would still be attempting to get in a decent shot.
Anyone else besides me think those scans were blown out of proportion? WBN vs Sabretooth was alot of tough talk and besides, that was the old version of Sabretooth (the same version that got his head pounded into the pavement by Blackcat) the Creed of today is a whole different beast. WBN vs the Hulk scans looked wrong, as if the writer and artist mixed up the grey Hulk with the green, seeing as how they both passed out only to awake as human. Few things I noticed about the scans 1) its dark 2) the Hulk is getting angry which should only make him stay Hulk longer 3) Why the hell did WBN pass out, and at the same time??? Makes no sense, and someone post that fight between Wolverine and that huge werewolf that had the little boy inside it, should clear this debate right up.
