One decent game from there was FF, but even that can't compare to Diablo or Might and Magic. The rest are just FF clones.

You guys clearly don't know what you're talking about. The second biggest RPG franchise over there: the Tales franchise, differs vastly from the FF franchise in both gameplay and style. And pretty much every JRPG is somewhat unique in its own way.

And it's not anything originating from Japan, it's any RPG, and that's something that can factually be stated.
