H2: Halloween 2

I just found out about a really interesting alternate ending, Michael was actually gonna talk:

Known for filming multiple sequences during production of his films, Zombie filmed an alternate ending to Halloween II. In the alternate ending, Loomis and Michael crash through the shed the police have surrounded, and out into the open air. As Loomis grasps at Michael's mask, and pleads for him to stop, Michael stabs Loomis in the stomach as he tells Loomis to "Die!".

^ That would have been terrible.

The movie itself seems terrible. It woulda been interesting but totally the wrong way to go, keep Myers silent, thats part of his character, part of what makes him scary

The scene will probs be on youtube when the films out on DVD

As far as I know that's unintentional. Tyler was putting a lot of energy into the role, which is likely why he was shouting "die" whilst taking out Loomis. I read about this quite a while ago, and what steverules put up differs from what I read a little, but yeah, I doubt Zombie ever intended for Michael to speak at all.

In any case, the film definitely isn't terrible, and you should check it out once it hits DVD shelves. At least try renting it.

Well it seems to be an alternate ending so I'm guessing maybe Zombie did mean it...ya never know

If that particular sequence was meant as an alternative ending, chances are Zombie filmed it to see how it'd turn out. Zombie likes to film as much as he can, even if he knows from the get go he won't include it in the theatrical cut of the film. In any case, he originally filmed the scene where Michael brings Laurie to their old home with Michael saying one word which would be "Boo" but he thought it'd demystify Michael too much.

Zombie has acknowledged that his interpretation of the character is different from past versions, but he didn't want to change too much by having him speak or anything like that. That's a good call in my book as Michael (like Jason) should always remain silent.

I read in Fangoria that Michael was actually gonna stab Loomis then say

Spoiler:
"I like turtles!"
.

Thank you for that completely useless and irrelevant post.

Well in halloween there was the alternate ending where Mike actually listened to Loomis and let Laurie go...then he got killed by a hail of bullets by the police, TBH original is all better but especially original Loomis, Donald Pleasance (hope I spelt that right) was and still is a legend 😎

I'm highly aware of that alternative scene which I've watched many times, which is why I said alternative sequence, there's a different. Those two endings still existed, the only difference was in the basement scene Michael spoke one word but every event, such as her stabbing him and making it out of the basement were all the same.

And yes, the original is better, but I see the remake as being really well done, but the original is, as far as I'm concerned, the best horror movie ever made.

This was the worst movie ever....crap to the 10th degree....John Carpenter should sue Rob Zombie...what a terrible movie...god awfull!.....they took Dr lumas and made him a joke.....Rob zombie ruined this franchise....his first Halloween was ok..nothing special...something i could watch for my love of the originals...but this movie was garbage and a waste of my time......i hated the movie so much i threw it in the garbage with the first halloween movie by zombie.....hack of a writer director.....ugghhh...i cant stop putting this movie down......create your own movies that suck...dont try and put your mark on a classic John Carpenter movie....disgracefull!

Yeah I saw the film but with the alternate ending, I wasn't too happy with it, I prefer the original sequel

The director's cut is far superior and just flows a lot better as well.
