President Obama 'orders Pakistan drone attacks'
President Obama 'orders Pakistan drone attacks'
It's an assumption that Obama went out of his way to "order" the attacks considering that the wars are run by the generals rather than directly by the President. But yeah, not an great move no matter who made it.
Also, lulz at "a clear sign that the controversial military policy begun by George W Bush has not changed" which seems ridiculous less than a week into Obama's presidency.

Hasnt Obama been meeting with Generals and the Join Chiefs?
Surely bombing pakistan must have come up as a topic of discussion.

I think you're seriously underestimating the time it takes to change the course of a war. As far as I know Obama didn't say he would have the war over four days into his presidency.
To say he's ordered "the bombing of Pakistan" is highly misleading though. Everyone knows that Al-Qaeda moves between Pakistan and Afghanistan constantly to avoid being captured and everyone knows that the tribal regions around the border are not controlled by Pakistan's government and are effectively a seperately ruled entity. I don't think Pakistan's government would be too upset that the US is attacking forces that not only are fighting allied troops in Afghanistan but also are seeking to oust the less radical Pakistani government.

Also, why are people making excuses for Obama? It would have to have been ordered by the President, and Obama is the President.
Not every military action is explicitly ordered by the President. Why not give the man benefit of the doubt until he's at least had a chance to establish a pattern?

A military strike, like the one this thread is about, is approved by the president.

I was asking about KidRock, not Obama. Freaking bias.
And you don't see the left wing bias? 😆
