Yan yue dao are pretty cool. Better suited to defensive styles, though.

Holy crap. Naginata's are long.

You should see ceremonial zanbatō. Some could be over a dozen feet long.

Yup. Basically that's the point of all polearms. Keep enemies waaaay the hell away as long as possible.

Hah, blade doesn't necessarily mean sword 😛 considering the ones I listed that I liked were a knife and a polearm...😛

I'm just too Westernized. 😛

But seriously, those weapons are badass.

Yeah, they're pretty cool. I actually almost bought a pair of tantou a couple of years ago. Just for the hell of it, you know? And I think it'd be awesome to learn to actually wield a naginata or glaive or other similar polearm.

Though right now I'd settle for simply being able to practice archery more (need new equipment though, my bow's too small) and learn fencing, which is more likely 😛

I'd love to learn how to use a sword of some kind. Would be loads of fun.

You plan on competing in any archery competitions? 🙂

So do I, it'd be neat 😛

I dunno. Probably not, not even sure where to find out about that sort of stuff and I'm really not that great. Though I'm sure if I practiced regularly I'd be a lot better.

Yeah it would. 😄

Ah ok, so it's just a hobby. That's cool though, gives you something new to do.

Trunks sword!

But I'm more of a bow guy.
