Megatron, it could be the whole "i'm the leader of the Decepticons and my life must be preserved above all else" regardless of The Fallen being there, 'cause lets face it, The Fallen was an afterthought when it comes to Decepticon leadership.

I'll agree that it was poor script writing though...all the way through Megatron says how he's so awesome and the best (after The Fallen - apparently) and then when it comes to the moment the Autobots get the '1up' they flee...not right...just not right

Well, Megatron had half his face blasted off by Prime and was in bad shape. And he was shaken to see The Fallen taken down and pulverized by Prime. It's not like we didn't see PLENTY of Decepticon retreats during the old cartoon series.
I know the relationship between The Fallen & Megatron isn't how it's been done in the past (and they are borrowing heavily from The Emperor & Darth Vader) but they are just coming up with their own reasoning for the movies, about how the civil war originally started.

I already know the answer, but I want to hear others answers: At the end of both films when Opitmus is sending his message.. HOW exactly is he?

Listen to that voice! When Optimus Prime talks into the sky the universe listens!

Seriously though, I humorously imagined a transmitter in his junk, because of the way he stood while talking.

he most likely sends out a signal, and seeing as to how he is a super advanced robot and all, that signal can transmit pretty far

don't wanna let him transmit in your face though...it might destroy your brain

I always thought that he didn't transmit the message to space right then and there. Sort of like when your hear dialogue of someone writing in a diary, but they're not writing anything at all, but taking a stroll or having fun. It seemed to me like OP was just staring up atthe sky, and the narration of his message to space played.

Yeah, I was talking more along the lines of the outro to the first film. Which led to my idea. I don't remember if he sent out another message towards the end of ROTF.

The Wall-E model will be called Trypticon,
and the Johnny 5 model will be given the name Grimlock.
(Because dinosaur robots are too sillyz for the Bay. 🙄 )

But as long as they are robots fixated on dick jokes and seem to be pre-school in their IQ, then it should please diehard fans of the 1st two Baymovies.

Revenge of the Fallen Sideswipe is excellent, got to admit. Not quite universe Sideswipe, but still good.

Coolish looking design/not enough screentime. (which unless you be Optimus Prime or Bumbleebee in these movies, that seems part of the course.)

Maybe its a blessing though, as if Sideswipe were allowed tooooo much dialogue it would have to be some inane and purile drivel, from the pens of these writers no doubt....

I couldn't help but feel they were out of place on this one. But I did like how the green one slid around on one foot all the time.
