AI as in the humans. Run right at you, or get behind cover then run right at you. Or when you can "distract" humans to a scary dark alleyway, and they go, "hmmm I wonder what's there?".The SP campaign for Predator was weak. I didn't feel like a badass at all. I felt like a dude with wrist blades. The hand to hand combat is dumb. After re-playing the Chronicles of Riddick, where two prisoners go at it (which makes sense), you have an Alien and Predator duking it out. When has that ever happened in the movies?
If SP wasn't there focus, what's the point of having it? It's a 10 hour SP campaign, which in my books means that the developers went out of their way to divert a lot of resources to it. It was also marketed as SP game also.
And as before "interwoven" stories doesn't mean the same levels. Look at AvP2, where there was a couple of rooms that the 3 campaigns shared but the rest had different levels and still felt like the world was there.
- Yeah, but when arent the humans absolute fodder.. they behaved the same way in AvP2.. *run to corner* "Omg omg oh jesus oh god oh god oh god".. *rapes human*
-Pretty sure in the avp movies the preds an aliens were dukin it out.. I never watched em but even saw a scene from the trailer where a pred used an aliens tail to whup its own ass.. plus as I mentioned you dont really have to duke it out.. thats just a nice last resort to have should the alien actually get close to you (which when I Play pred in multiplayer, only happens when they sneak up on me)
-I cant really say 100% if they werent focused on it.. but it 'does' feel tacked on, wouldnt you agree?.. and yeah I know what you mean, but the levels were probably twice as easy to make for avp2, (I think they used half-life engine, right?) which lead to having such big areas
I also have no idea how long each game took to make (avp2 vs this game)... I think this one was a lil lengthy development wise and they needed to get it out there
It kinda feels like they just wanna get this out there, and will probably do better in the future
