New AVP Game in the Works

With the predator campaign i wonder if you can use the energy recharger came in handy with AVP 2.

energy seemed to drain too fast in AvP2 campaign, considering you only got 1 extra recharger

One thing from the trailer (among all the other wonderful things) that really impressed me was the jumping system for the predator. helps to add a somewhat superhuman quality to the guy...

HOly shit...,Aliens vs predator 3/ Colonial Marines, Ghostbusters 3, Turtles in time , MArvel Vs Capcom and MArvel Ultimate Alliance 2...,Dude, you can't be firing this many great games at me at once. I'm gonna have to quit my job.

Ahh I see.

This game looks very promising, I cant wait and I really love the part that they are making the predator vision more like in the movie where the prey is very easy to see but the surroundings become somewhat harder to see. give give give, avp2 was and still is a favorite when me and my friends are having LAN's. Nothing beats the overpowered grandelauncher thats attached to the pulse rifle hehe 😄

Its not that new you could do that in the other AVP games.

Erm in the other avp games everything just became say blue, the surroundings didint become obscure like in the video I saw of this game.

Found out some things on how the Marines fit into it all

on planet BG-386 a colonist mining group discovers ancient ruins containing a dark and horrible secret - a vicious and deadly race. The Marines get dispatched to the planet when contact is lost with the colonists. Meanwhile across the stars a race of Predator warriors is alerted to the discovery and a hunting party is sent there to keep the secrets hidden.

I want this to be out already looks amazing, my fav AvP game is the one that capcom made which I have on my PSP but...think this one could actually take it's place as my fav

I loved the look of the predator and marine vid's, I look forward to seeing what can be done with Alien...I think with alien you can: Spit acid, use your tongue thing, use your tail and scale walls

There may be a few other things but I think thats mainly it

Spit acid ?.........thats a new thing for the games.

Well I believe it's something they can do...the aliens that is...i believe it was in Alien Resurrection where that first happened, and they need a long range weapon, the predator has the plasma castor (may have spelt that wrong) and the marine's have their...plasma guns and so on...so it would only be logical for the Alien to have a long range weapon which would be spitting acid 🙂

They should keep the two classes of Aliens as the classic Human/Xenomorph and Predalien kind. I think spitting acid would take away from their play style.
