Mario has never taken or used as much power as the Blade of Olympus.

Quite the contrary, I am a big supporter of Nintendo, specifically Zelda. And last time a Collossus was thrown at Kratos, he tossed it like a softball.

Not quite. In fact Kratos was owning the Collossus already without the BoO being sent down to him.

Not sure why he chose to take it when he had the situation under control...I suppose it was just his greed for more power.

ok since i don't play either the Mario or GoW series enough I really don't know... however it seems apparent to me that Mario would totally pwn Kratos.
