In 3 there is no way to start the game without him.

Well that stinks if you sacrifice yourself for the greater good in Mass Effect 2, then the Reapers just come in and destroy everything without any resistance...

Perhaps when you let him "die" it will be in a way that they will be able to bring him back in ME 3.

During an interview on X-Play, the head of Bioware said that there will not only be faster elevators and more alien relations but you may also be in faster elevators while having special relations with an alien as well. Weird.

Bioware says that ME2 will be coming out January 26th. About time they gave a release date instead of just 2010. That's been annoying me.

They announced it about two weeks ago though.
