Circe completely rendered the entire Greek pantheon useless and has been summoned in rank among the likes of the Spectre and Nekron. She's basically the goddess of magic in DC. She doesn't just magic everyone away in every appearance because, being a magically based character, it would ruin the plot (also she has a quasi-respectful wish to personally ruin Diana's life via torture).

Sentry defeated Doom. Doom defeated Beyonder. Screw the details, amirite? Sentry > Beyonder.

Thor hit Sentry with a full on hammer shot that basically struck a big a** blast right afterwrds and Sentry tanked it. That hit alone is far greater than the impact of a Hellicarrier.

Before this void took direct hits from ALL of Earth heros and tanked it... that is far greater than the impact of a hellicarrier.

Yeah, Circe did use artifacts when making the hellfire web to manipulate the gods, but even after Dr. Fate and Klarion gathered together to dispel her amps she went on to straight up kill Hermes with magic for getting in her way of Wonder Woman. Then she turned Diana back into the clay she was made from; also under her own power.

Circe only lost eventually because she was ported to Limbo and stripped of Hecate's blessing (which is where she originally got her magic from hundreds and hundreds of years ago).
