Contrary to popular belief, ROTOS Vader is not a top notch super awesome Sith that could challenge Sidious/Bane/Yoda. He lost to Kenobi.

it's a tough one

Darth Krayt beat Anakin back when he was still A'Sharad Hett.

Now he's way more powerful, knowledgeable and experienced (even with all the time in stasis). He's also calmer and more level-headed.

He beat Anakin before. He'll do it again.
