I still think Cell would've beaten Pikkon had he not been taken by surprise (before Goku and Pikkon trained with the Grand Kai that is).

He had the lightening of the ASSJ form, and he had the rediculous bulk increase of the USSJ form. See how that works?
If Trunks HAD kept going in the Ultimate form and amped himself up with just a buttload of power, why couldn't there be a form very similar to Broli's? An ascended ulitmate super saiyan.
ASSJ is just lots of more power and ki in the SSJ form. the USSJ is just lots of raw power in the SSJ form. I wouldn't say that it is any slower than just plain SSJ, though. Perfect Cell WAS faster than Trunks...but I wouldn't say leagues beyond...like the difference between imperfect cell and perfect cell.

As you see Trunks and vegeta were very on par with one another. But thing is Perfect cell got into trunks head and made him bulk up. But hey thats all fighting right there.
Cell would kick his ass even if frieza was stronger then Cell (he isn't) he would have to destroy every single cell of his or Cell would come back stronger thanks to his Saiyen(sp?) cells in him.
Cell is also more durable, Frieza was killed by Trunk's sword and didn't that sword break when he used it on cell or am getting it mixed up with some one else
