OMG.... I hope he spends more than $10 on the scripts this time.

After seeing what Lucas did with CW: let's hope it will never come...

Maybe we should all go and cherish our old VHS tapes...

I agree with you saying SW has gone stale. There's nothing new coming that doesn't involve those god awful prequels and Lucas has demonstrated that he is willing to trash any character from the original trilogy if he thinks it will make him a buck.

At this point, all I have left to look forward to is a few new OT action figures and maybe happening across a few pre-1999 novels in a used book store.

Well, you can always watch the OT.

Lately I've been struck by the content of so many SW references in popular culture. Most of them use the iconography of the OT, not the PT...

You know, at that price...making he should just condense that mountain of scripts down and go make another movie trilogy.

Yes yes, I don't want the numbering of the films to change, even though this will be in the middle of the two trilogies. Lucas should just step back and let other people make these like he would for TV; find a hook for the film series (some title better than Star Wars: The Middling Middle Parts 😄 ) and get on with it. If he can't do it as well as The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles for TV, go back to the big screen.

I never got into the young indiana jones shows. but i grew up with the OT and loved all 6 star wars films. the clone wars cgi is ok i have to catch up with that. i liked the short cartoons better. this live action tv show i hope it is good. and unfortunatley we will never get to see the movie that was made by a guy in Edmonton (that stared Jeremy Bulloch)
because the director murdered a guy in a way similar to the dexter show.

I doubt it will ever make it to the tv screen.

Some new information about the show...

Sounds intresting but 3 to 4 years... I doubt it will ever be made.

Me too... tv changes rapdily these days.

They should make it a Broadway show, like Spider-Man, but not suck.

And not to cost $70 million to produce.

Indeed... no CGI.

I'd already be happy if they managed to pull that one off 😛

You are so right.

It'll suck. accept it now. Lucas hasn't done anything that's been pretty universally loved in 30 years.

His dog maybe?

Is this still going to be made?

Lucas was too busy tinkering with the OT...

Amazingly enough, people are going to eat it up.

Not amazing, we are stupid.
