1. No. You think Dante was written to know that we would be debating about him? "I think I'll just lay here and let the KMC guys think I'm out" lol. He was in a pool of his own blood, and that pool was getting bigger. He was out.
No fallacious interpretations please.
2. Proof? As in the video I posted? Dante getting tired = reaching his limits. When else have you seen him struggle in DMC 1? When else did he need to be infused with power from Trish to win? Exactly.

Are you dense? Obviously he slowly recovered since he was left alone. He was near death and could have been finished however. Trish impaling him with the Force Edge, Dante's weakest default sword, hurt him as well. Again what is your point? We all KNOW he has regeneration. I've demonstrated that it has it's limits.
How do I know? Probably because the video showed as much? What are you being dense about? Dante was prepared to fight to the death in a collapsing castle, He said this himself. He realized that he probably wouldn't survive the battle but figured he could take Mundus out with him. He was wrong. Mundus had the advantage while Dante was steadily weakening from the struggle. End.
Capcom THEMSELVES SAID ONLY 3[or 4] THINGS HURT DANTE. STOP MAKING UP BULLSHIT. He got cut by Yamato with his 2nd encounter and was fine.
Not really.
Dante's taken incinerating blasts of Holy energy, gunfire, hellfire, slashes, cuts, smashes, trampling and Devil magics (just to name a few injuries) and the only times he's even been hurt is when A) Mundus impales his chest several times with Nether Spikes in DMC1, B) when he's impaled through the heart by Rebellion in the DMC anime, and C) when Vergil stabs him through the heart with Rebellion in DMC3.
leave things strictly to the Games. This is of course restricted to but not limited the literal translation of what feats and proper physics, and sciences can be shown to make it more comprehnsive.
if you bring up anime and mangas you're going to make your posts null and void and easily debunked since they don't follow guide lines.
side note: there is a LoZ manga series where Link pulls off impressive shit but there is no point in me bring that up because I've already posted how Link won this.
ps: I've actually seen the entire DMC anime. He didn't do much in it AND THIS IS AGAINST NERO, not dante. Though they're pretty much the same, Nero being weaker, so might as well just have us beat Dante. proving we can destroy Nero.
The proof is the video of the encounter. My god.
He was grunting in pain. Yes, he recovered. That's not the ****ing point.
What are these three things again? One of them being Devil Arms yes? You know why they they hurt him? The explanation is simple. They are powerful enough to hurt him. The feats those devil arms demonstrate tell us what it takes to hurt Dante, claiming that nothing else can hurt him because it doesn't have a specific moniker is incorrect as there are demonstrations otherwise.
You do remember that him and Trish had to escape Mallet island right? Do you know why? It was crumbling. If they stayed the castle falling on them would have killed them. Not to mention the island exploding. Now, I'm sure you'll find that Capcom didn't specifically list 'exploding islands' on their list of things that can 'hurt' Dante but if you mistake this for meaning that its a negative then you are basically committing a no limits fallacy. EG: saying "Dante can recover from an explosion that destroys a house, ergo he can survive an island exploding." lol. (not to rub it in again but Link survived in the center of an exploding moon. 😉 )
Overall there is no 'three things' that can hurt Dante by your own post. It all falls under one umbrella condition. They have to be powerful enough to hurt him.
TL;DR: P R O O F You keep bringing up things about Dante, or Virgil, and other characters and jump around the place instead of sticking to the conversation at hand which shows you don't have solid evidence. When all along we have been talking about what Link, and Link alone is capable of. You constantly ignore my posts and have no comeback or reasoning against the facts I have presented over and over again on how Link clearly defeats Nero, or even Dante. Besides you don't have solid evidence, you post what you view in Fanboy fashion instead of hard core facts, quotes. So where is your proof?

strength:

He took shots from Ganon's massive beast form that carried two swords, and could disintegrate stone without even halting, as if the stone was not there. These blows obviously hurt Link but still only did 2.5 hearts.Link has temporary invulnerability to match Dante's temporary speed boost, and when Dante is not in his speed boost, he may still be faster than Link, and probably is, but not fast enough to really speed blitz Link who can casually chop arrows out of the air, side step swords thrown hard enough to embed themselves into stone walls, go toe to toe with Ganon, and Majora, and so on. Link's not the fastest runner but he is a very quick fighter with super human reaction speed.
As to strength, Let me math.. He lifted a stone pillar resmebling black granite closest (a VERY heavy stone known for being retardedly heavy.)
granit article v
http://uts.cc.utexas.edu/~rmr/definition.html <--source."Since so many people ask me about "weight" [granite not mine]....I have an old reference that says an "average" granite has a density of about 166.5 lb. per cubic foot, or about 2.6 times what the same volume of water would weigh. If its what commercial stone dealers call a "black granite" the density would likely be much higher."
Now, assuming that, lemme make a few estimations.. /heads to youtube.
<--screen shot. I'l try to get one that shows the entire pillar rather than just the bottom... but it's clearly huge. Lemme do some quick math on that using the average weight of white granite before I move on to black granite..
K, working with only what we can SEE in this image, let's assume conservatively that Link is slighlty above average height, around 6'2" or more seems reasonable, so we'll go with six. RESERVED FOR EDITTED IN MATH*
BLACK GRANITE!

Density: 179 pounds/cubic foot

Compressive strength: 22,122 psi (153 Mpa)

Math time. 12208.32 (volume in cubic feet) x 179 (lbs per cubic foot) = 2185289.28 lbs. Just the visible portion. Link. Is. Amazing.. I didn't expect it to be THAT heavy.. wtf.. 1096.64 tons. .
Even in my most fanboyish moments I would have only guessed 100ish tons for the entire rock.. and this is a conservative estimation. So.... I'm gonna go redo my math, I don't believe this.
Edit: most of this math. (figuring the volume in cubic feet) was doen by my math whiz friend Blubba Pinecone.
Goron Link can take down an entire mechanical & organic based super Bull with his body alone. You bring up characters having other forms, well Link has them as well.

endurance:
Link surviving an explosion he took a point blank radius while still inside the Moon, that eventually disintegrated it (this scene is done in slow motion, rainbow is there for happy ending effects) Now 'Dawn of A New Day' is easily translated into only a few minutes time since with the Moon destroyed the Day would be immediate.
Link fell from that height of the Moon after surviving the explosion and your only counter argument to that has been there is no crater where he landed. Well last I checked if a humanoid is dropped from any height, extreme or not, there is no crater of impact because they are not heavy in weight. The explosion radius is clearly contained with in the Moon and so inertia kicks in and is canceled. So force of impact is all with in that moment of explosion, then Link would simply drop from the point there after.
example: suicide victims of 9/11 did not create craters and fell from greater heights.

another one is that as young Link, by only using the Hylian Shield on his back while crouching alone can withstand the pressure and weight of the King Dodongo. That is only his young body with out fully being physically developed it both situations.
YouTube video
Speed;Agility;Reflex:
Also noted in this fight that Majora uses whip based weapons that are able to travel faster then the speed of sound. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sound_barrier And thus upon breaking it, and Link showing he can dodge them with ease proves his speed, agility and reflex all in one go. This match though in the video was shows with the power of Fierce Deity, but Young Link is capable of doing this himself, so adult Link or any other would be as well.

Weapons
respectively Link can only carry so many, but lets go by standards of restricting him to only a select few from what a certain system allows button wise and go on from there. But honestly Link only needs two to win.

first off you keep saying Link is Human. Link is Hylian. And for all we know the Hyrule race have above advantages of physical prowess over ourselves. So stop comparing them to our human selves.
And your argument that Dante defeated a God, while not being a God himself, is petty. Link is a GOD, Link defeated a God (Ganondorf). It's one thing to be able to beat a God because of plot in the game but another to be one of the Demi-Gods in your own game, defeat another God, and go onto be a legend.
Let's define the word God though:
(lowercase) one of several deities, esp. a male deity, presiding over some portion of worldly affairs.
So with that said, Link presides over the affair of Life.

you're confusing being stabbed, impaled, crucified, thrusted, lunged, etc etc alternate words for being physically penetrated by a sword, with the fact we're taking about alternate dimensional speed on a scale outside of the law of possible physics (i.e. teleporation) in itself which is a tear in time and space and with those applied to Link's shown strength thanks to ScreamPaste....
it would TEAR, rip a new worm hole sort of speak, in which Dante would be sliced at it's birth peak.
EDIT: you can't regenerate lost matter. Molecules and atoms exist and continue to exist and recycle so long as they are on our plane of existance. But if something is built and sent to space, those particles no longer are apart of our world.
The same goes for if Dante or Nero was cut at such extreme conditions the flesh, muscle, bone and organ that was wounded would have its own sub-atomic structure would be sent to out of reach for him to regenerate what was lost. [/quote]

So Link teleports in front of Dante or Nero and with unbridled strength could use his bare hands to thrust into their chest and crush their beating heart. But besides, who needs to kill Nero or Dante when Link can simply transform them into a Bot. And Bots are as simple to defeat as stepping on them.

Explain how you could escape this? Because frankly you haven't and he would simply be squished into a nothing left but jelly based residue.
Even the man of Steel, Superman is weak and vulnerable to magic
(don't get me started on comics, I W I N )the fact I have probably played more Zelda titles then you shows my extensive knowledge over you in what Link is actually capable of and he indeed has this power. So...
good day to you sirs.

You claim you have played more Zelda titles than me wit out even knowin' me. That's a dumb thing to do. I happen to be an avid Zelda fan. How foolish.
I'm pretty much done arguin'. I'll let someone else handle you dorks.
if what you say is true you should know this is an instant cast spell with a large array of AOE
Link can just dodge the bullet while also casting it if need be but it isn't.
what you need to understand is, Nero has no knowledge of what Link is capable of and visa versa.
So lets say upon seeing each other they are enemies, Nero fires, Link side steps or simply raises his shield to deflect & the magic of "Spell" is cast and now Nero my dear sir is a Bot.

You don't even comprehend what the hell Capcom said. lol. They were showing instances in which Dante was severely hurt, they weren't listing that as the only 3 specific things that CAN hurt Dante. Devil Arms hurt him because they are powerful enough to hurt him. Ergo, the Master Sword is more than powerful enough to hurt him because by feats alone it hurts someone with far greater durability (and not to mention actual immortality) than Dante, and that is Ganon.
Nope. That is not the only way to kill him seeing as the crumbing castle would have killed him and Trish. Not to mention the exploding island. Hence why they had to escape. Dante who has been severely hurt from just ONE SHOTS coming from weapons that can cut stone (yamato, alastor, rebellion etc) would not have survived. Seeing as two impalements from Yamato and Rebellion left him unconscious. To claim that because Dante can recover from lesser destructive feats such as those----ONLY IF given time to recover might I add----that he can take an island explosion is a no limits fallacy. Hell, it's more basic than that, it's a fallacy that contradicts canon since the exploding island was not hypothetical.
As an aside you said "Capcom said it you can't deny it"....lmao...it is a basic tenet that an author can be wrong about his own work in specific situations, such as when the work itself blatantly contradicts the author's words outside of it.
Gumachi, you are a terrible, easily refuted debater. Asking for proof a hundred times after it's already been posted doesn't make the proof disappear. Look at Paste's video, 4 minutes in onward. Link is inside the moon as it is destroyed by Majora's body exploding. Link is then sent flying back to Earth as seen by the rainbow-esque trail that shows his trajectory, then he wakes up the next day shaking his head from the impact.
Lol when I watch this thread its like the nero side says:
Speed blitz, devil bringer. wtf? is that all?
I can give you a seriously way to long list of things link can do that totally crushes the enemy and even without all that gear he has some serious strength, endurance, agility, reflexes, sharp eyes and so on, the only thing he really lack is the ability to speak.
