Sephiroth vs Link

Gameplay is not always canon. Gameplay mechanics play a big role in that. It's just like you said, if Link were allowed to be that strong in gameplay, the game would only be a minute long. Master Chief would also always see with a targeting circle and take a lot longer than normal to turn around.

Sephiroth would also have to wait for his opponents to attack...

But aside from the more ridiculous aspect, I just used this example earlier, Cole McGrath in InFamous. He doesn't have to raise his arm and move it around to shoot, it'd be as simple as pointing his arm and shooting. He'd also be able to run full speed while shooting.

if we're talking of all abilties seph can summon a massive meteor that would kill the planet their on with the exeption of him of course as long he out teleports link. sephiroth wins

I'm sure Naughty Dog is a good company, I just haven't liked any of their games since Crash 3 and Crash Team Racing. Given, I haven't had a chance to try Uncharted yet. But, I did beat Resistance: Fall of Man (which was too easy by the way).

B. Sephiroth has the NL.

C. Sephiroth has massive magical properties from soaking in Mako longer then any other being. (E.g. When he was regenning the first time he was soaking in a HUGE Mako crystal to boost his magical power).

Also the NL is the same as The Lifestream, The Lifestream is incredibly powerful and makes up everything. Nl == The Lifestream. Essentially the maximum we can say The Lifestream is capable of destroying two planet destroying capable spells as stated by the creators.

Your last post about Ganondorf is irrelevant because Ganondorf is a hundred times the villain Sephiroth is.

2. Technically he didn't need to not sleep, and it could have been more then '3' days. Link dodging Majora's 'super-whips' is not the most impressive feat and still puts him below Sephiroth in terms of speed. You don't have to dodge the part that is moving at the fastest speed, because you can react to the speed at which the whip is moving at originally (which isn't fast).

3. Wrong, Link was knocked uncounscious with a relativly small force, one that Sephiroth could easily recreate. (At the beginning of MM).

Given that Sephiroth has Mimic and super fast reactions, he could easily react to Link grabbing \ throwing his shield (i.e before he actually throws it!).

Ganondorf is leet indeed.

Months? When did the FF7 game go that long? and technically he only called it once, it just took a long time to get there =). Also he could now create his own Meteor. Sorry that is incorrect, Sephiroth recreates the tiny amount of force to knock Link out with his will, then continually recreates it until Link gets braindamage. Apparently Will != TK.

Back into the fire with me it seems, and Killer that post I quoted was at Niduin, also, the official Nintendo guide cites the pillar as being granite. It weighed /atleast/ 1000 tons if I round ALL of the numbers down, a lot.

Link any character end game self is more powerful, also, being thrown off of a horse can break a normal person's back.

Dodging whips unimpressive? Killer, you can't react until the whip is cracked, or they can crack the whip differently to adjust their aim and you lose. The attack itself is what needs to be dodged, and Major had two extremely long massive prehensile whips which broke trhe sound barrier with each attack. Keep in mind this is Link as a child, having gone without sleep, and without his piece of the triforce. I have evidence for this in the Link respect thread in the form of Adam Winrich cracking whips for the camera. Trust me, you can crack a whip at pretty much any time you like, in any direction you like.

Now factor in that the longer a weapon is, the faster the tip moves, a six foot whip breaks the sound barrier consistently. Forty foot whips?

Sephiroth can move too early when Link gets ready to throw his sheild, but as soon as Link's muscles release the tension in his arm, the result being similar in mechanics to a catapult, and you'd be suprised how similar our arms work to such a contraption... The sheild will accellerate to 10 km /s, faster then Sephiroth can react to.

Ganondorf is indeed l33t.

Sephiroth will slice off Link's cockles with his long and shiny blade.
