Alright, ScreamPaste. It seems that your logical (and correct) approach isnt working for these guys. Time for the cheap-ass overkill.

Assuming that this is the Hero of Time.
Sometime before the fight, Link consumes the Chataeu Romani, giving him infinite magic for at least over 3 days (probably forever). He then uses Nayru's Love, making him infinitely invincible. Apply the fact that Link is a God compared to Sephiroth in strength, and that Seph can use no materia or magic on him because of the Master Sword and Mirror Shield. Also realize that the Master Sword is the ultimate bane of Sephiroth. Couple all of this with the fact that Link can slow down time itself and everyone in it (not just a target, like FF does) and you would have to be a fool to think Sephiroth (or anyone else) has a chance at beating him. Oh, and dont be retarded enough to say that Seph could use a Slow or Stop magic on Link. The Master Sword is the Key of Time. Shiek says, "...you hold time itself in your hands." Its not gonna work.

This is spite. Even without the Triforce.

On Links speed ,what speed feats does he have?

Reacting to super sonic attacks, casually slashing arrows out of the air, out running arrows in aLttP, that sort of thing.

And I forgot to mention this. Link's arrows will DEFINITELY hit Sephiroth. They fly fast enough to hit the sun in under a second (Fire Arrows in OoT)

Can you show me him reacting to super sonic attacks please and a sephiroth debator would argue that Sephiroth is far faster than Cloud or Zack who can apprently block bullets and dodge them with ease, bullets being far quicker than arrows......

Holding a foot wide sword infront of your face isn't terribly difficult.

And yes, Majora's Mask, the final boss has a pair of prehensile whips atleast forty feet long, the physics behind a whip that size... It gives me a bwnr.

Final Boss, Majora's Wrath. The whips are his main form of attack. If Link cannot dodge them, he would have lost. But he won, so its obvious that he can canonically dodge them.
