It was definatly created by Majora to destroy the moon? I thought it broke down because he was defeated...considering he wanted the moon to crash, why would he himself stop it?

He wouldn't, there was very obviously a massive release of some kind of energy when Majora died, his death throes broke the moon. Why would he help the one who killed him?

I assumed it was the 'real' erm...what was the guys name that stole the mask? I assumed it was him that had taken control of the power momentarily, considering Majora was busy deing and all that. His death throes created a rainbow that broke apart the moon and floated around?

Photon energy is the most destructive theory, don't touch it, it'd make Link a temporary sun tanker. =P

I prefer to assume it was something less destructive.

Okay, let us assume for a moment that it was a 'photon energy' thingo there is 0 evidence that it would harm anything else except the moon. For example those big summoned guys didn't feel a thing when it enveloped the moon.

Killer, don't even go down this road. Do you have any idea the kind of power it'd take to just tear apart a rock with photon energy? @_@ We're talking enough light to tear something apart on an atomic level, in laymen's terms

But it clearly wasn't geared to harm everything, just the moon. As you can clearly see when it doesn't harm link or even the four summoned guys holding it.

Everyone ignored the fact that Link can deal with Sephiroth's speed, or can take his hits without being harmed.

Towards the end, you can also see Zant teleport to Link and attack directly out of it.

So why can Ganon teleport? Zant gets all his powers from Ganon. It is said so twice. Once by Zant when he ambushes Midna and Link duringa meeting with the last light spirit, and another by Ganon when we see a cutscene of Zant looking to the sky. Ganon shows himself to Zant, and says "I will house my power within you. Whatever you desire, I shall desire, too."

allright, he is like a zombie thing, and he OMG teleports to the other side of the room and starts floating up...he gets pretty high. What the f--- is that? Level changes again, big things are erupting from the ground, not sure why. oh he is shooting stuff again. whoa cool grapple thing that moved incredibly slow...somehow? argth these things continue to go down then up...big crater thing appears in the middle of the level for no apparent reason. WDLDDLDWLDLWDLWDLWDLLWDLWDL - thats the sound that guy makes i find it funny. oop, he teleports again! in some kind of totem pole thing! this zant guy is not good at staying away from link. oop another teleport and he grows super big...Link seems to have an item for every occasion. lolz he is really really small now! jumping around...i can't see anything...Again grows big and gets hit on the foot...repeat again...that part is done! he has some swords and moves incredibly slow...even though he teleports. even that spinny thing is slow...he gets dizzy...and slammed then he teleports and attacks...hmmm I wonder if this is what that guy was talking about...he is defeated again and does a little dance...i *think* that is the end of the fight. oh this cool little guy, i forget who he is but he looks mad as.That guy get's mad at Zant...makes a cool sound but then gets hit by a bunch of red things that make him explode...cool little dude looks sad...he makes a cool black portal thing aaaand link gets a heart!

Basically I don't see how Zant is anywhere near as fast and hard as Sephiroth in a fight. Sephiroth keeps his velocity while fighting.

I kind of agree, it is kind of impossible to say any video game character to beat any other, however it is fun to try!

Also, C. C. Cowgirl what is that smily for the coffee and paper smily? It looks awesome, especially in that context.
