wtf....

Yeah its an interesting question, that one earlier:
'Are the people saying that a country is in debt to those who die/ are wounded in it's defense in favor of repairations for those from every nationality that has been defending the US interests...?'

And how owing to Great Britain is America, then for all those freindly fire kills, going all the way back to John Lennon...?

Well all I can say is, you have nationally gotta get out of the habit of electing warhawks starting bullshit wars that you cant sustain every time your economy is in the shit. Sure war does create jobs, and take the public eye off of how badly screwed up your money men have allowed things to get....but its jobs that can get you wounded/killed.
Every country needs its military, and from what Ive heard, the forces seem to be getting shat on royally and thats f**ked up for sure.... but all that patrotism/'I do it for my country' stuff only impresses on domestic soil. Its not like this war was defending that American soil.... Just its business.

So, "look after the troops and stop electing wankers like Bush",
would be what Im saying.
I bet all that military expediature since '03 would look REALLLLL good to your (and subsequently OUR) economy right now.

Give Obama a chance to sort this out/do the right thing regarding the socialised medicine. If he hasnt done shit in say two years, I'll join you in critiquing him, after the promises he has made.

He cant possibly be as much of a c*** as the last guy, can he...? 😛

Vets are the only ones who should be covered by socialized medicine as they were wounded on behalf of USA, thus USA owes them a debt.

All those who enlisted in the army did so willingly, knowing the possible consiquences.
Anyone who inlists into armed forces without considering the possibility of death or disability is a moron.
So if there is no free healthcare for everyone, why should there be some for those who willingly go into possible deaths.

Save American from socialzzzzm.

In fact, why do you have free schools - that is socialist. The most dangerous of all socialist things that are threatening American way of life.
You should do away with that. Why are rich paying taxes for some poor American to have FREE education when he/she will just end up being poor anyway. Gosh.

And all of those who enlist into the military ALSO know that they get free healthcare. It's one of the incentives that we have to stay in. So if we honored our part of the deal, went and fought in the war and were maimed because of it, why should the government be able to back out of their part of the agreement to take care of the injuries that their policies inflicted?

If they got it in their contract, they should get it.

Sounds to me like the Bush administration shouldn't make promises they can't keep.

thats been a promise since before the bush administration. and we can keep it... How about obama doubling the money in the economy with his stimulus package? kept his promise but sure took the value of the dollar down...

That far, far predates the Bush administration.

I can believe that. In fact, I am sure that majority of promises/laws predate Bush. Except Patriot Act.

you know what i believe? obama, bush, mcain, palin, bill clinton

ALL SUCK THE SAME.

nothing is going to change ever there will always be either a dishonest man or a stupid man in charge.

If there is to be a complete change, I believe there needs to be a third strong party, or complitely new/fresh faces in the administration.

Although Obama promised change, he just employed all the people from Clinton era...not sure how that will bring about any change when all people in charge are the same.
But whatever. We'll see.

he hasnt done it yet.. probably just rumors to make him look bad.
