Didn't Maelstrom have the power of the Anamoly and was unfazed when Thanos w/IG unleashed a blast

That's why Quasar finally got the edge, when he figured that out,
like I said, Quasar outwitted Maelstrom.

But initially, before that realization came into play,
Quasar was stalemating Maelstrom while empowered by Infinity,
just as Maelstrom was being empowered by Oblivion and more.
