Hmm I wondered if Xbox thought this through when they decided to ban 600 thousand users. For all intents and purposes, these people have to get a new system but what if they say "Fk Xbox, If im getting a new system, Im getting a PS3 or Wii". If these 600 thousand people decide to cancel their memberships, thats almost 5 million dollars they'll lose a month on membership fees alone.
well... XboxLive it's ad-supported, so it's not that much of a loss 😬

Not the first time I heard that
BTW: do they just ban your console, and not your gamertag?
Just finished the game and i'm not quite sure what happened. I didn't bother paying close attention to the dialogue in the load screens. So...,Shepard concocted the entire war to bring Americans together? What was with the, "no Russian" mission? What was the point to the mission? At first i thought you were playing through the perspective of the terrorists but you're undercover? That's some god damn deep cover right there. You murder dozens of civilians but it's cool because you're undercover lol ? At any rate, how did that play into the story? I enjoyed the game very much, i just have no idea what happened.
Spoiler:
im not sure what shepard was trying to do either but the no russian level youre a CIA agent trying to get close to the Makarov (the russian big wig) ao you join makarov on his mission. the reason why youre at that russian airport killing people is because its apart of makarovs plan which is to make it look like a bunch of american terrorist attacked the russian airport. thats why he says "no russian" in the elevator because he wants everyone to believe that youre all american not russians.so the plan works and after makarov shoots you and the russian police run up to your corpse they see that you're american and russia blames america for the attack. thats why russia invades america and why you end up fighting them in virginia and stuff.
Spoiler:
It turns out that Makarov was a lacky of Zackaev, the one armed guy in Modern Warfare 1. He wanted Russia and the world to think that American Terrorists took out a bunch of Russian Civilians, so when Russia terror cells, and the russian gov't attacked America, they would be justified. I'm not sure about Sheperd either.

Oh, right on. Thanks for that. That's what i was thinking but i kept wondering why the Agent bothered going through with the slaughter. He was obviously knew what was about to occur. Why not stop them then? It just felt like a very cheap way to justify the mission. I think the developers would have been better off not explaining anything. It is a weak plot line. Makarov sounds like an idiot. He is going to convince everyone that Americans were behind the terrorist attack by leaving the dead body of an undercover CIA agent? 😆

ummm... right i remember it was one of those cases where the mission was like soo secret that not even the president knew about it and shite so they couldnt actually prove that he was a cia agent.

kill a few at a chance to save the many. Makes perfect sense if you ask me. Who wouldn't kill a couple hundred civies to stop a nucleur threat? It's a dirty job, but someone has to do it, i bet there are some deep cover agents have had to do alot of killing IRL. Is the idea really so farfetched?

What... has no one watched 24 before? Like Juk says here.
There are Black Ops soldiers even today who regularly do things like take out entire villages, just so they can be sure to stop one guy. Because if they don't kill those 200 people to stop that one guy, then that one guy sells one missile to another guy, and a 50,000 population city gets wiped off the map. Like they said, it's a dirty job, but it has to be done.

I get that but the dude was obviously close enough to Markov to be informed about the the terrorist attack and plans. From what i gathered the agent was there just to get close to Markov not to prevent a Nuclear war. I guess i missed something. It just seems like a weak way to provoke Russia into a war with America. All it takes to provoke Russia into war with America is one dead American Cia agent?
