When you spend time in the OTF you get used to it, however his senseless babble yeah that's really annoying.

So what do you guys want in the game? Some stuff I want is the same level of intensity in the MW1 campaign and more in depth multi-player that creates replay value (I have 13 days on MW1). For multi-player, I think they should have a tournament system + clan system. Tournament system like SF4 champ mode would be good enough. I don't know.

I'd like to see all the multiplayer maps available at different times of the day and night and in different weather conditions so you have to customise your camoflage to suit.

As someone mentioned before, thermal goggles would be good.

1 of the modes mentioned as a possible game type in multiplayer sounded good but turns out was fake...having to hunt down as certain player on the other team. (similar to the "kill the boss" on GTA4)

One thing I would definitley like to see for the singleplayer is a finite amount of enemies on the maps. Eternal respawns until you reach a specific spot is getting annoyng.

As for multiplayer, variants of the map is a good idea. Weather effects that matter and time of day. Also movable stuff, like blowing up a C4 next to boulders should send debris off, and a boat level should make the map move with the waves.

Also, the rewards for kill-streaks in multiplayer should perhaps be scaled a bit. I found the airstrikes were way too weak, standing 10 cm inside a door opening should not save you from tons of explosives.

Yeah, infinite respawns is bloody annoying.

I think rewards for killstreaks should not be in a MP game. On the PC with more than 20 people playing, its pretty much infinite airstrikes, helicopters and radar.

They should be rewarded for huge kill streaks. For example, get 10 kills in a row, get the ability for rader, and then increase because getting three kills in a row is pretty damn easy.

If they do make a Vietnam Call of Duty, I'm hoping they change the engine because its way to static to do Vietnam justice. I want to see trees and branches fall around you, and chaos, and not just one big scripted event. CryTech engine would be awesome for this possibility. It would also be cool if you get dropped off in the jungle and you have slowly walk your way through a patrol, worrying about getting involved with the enemy and instead of a scripted event, it just happens naturally, or seems to be natural.

It would be kinda of cool.

Well I don't think we console players have that problem, I've always felt that the 3-5-7 kills has been very sufficient, but I also think a 15 kill streak would be worth something too. But short of a tactical nuke I don't know what that should be.

So maybe in the PC version, they up the kill streak awards because with 40 person game, you always see them.

Also, if you die before you can use the rewards, maybe they are taken away?

Perhaps just some kind of building penetrating bomb but only does 1 building would be a good thing to add for a kill streak....Maybe even just to replace the airstrike. That way you would get less team kills on hardcore although you'd get less kills than the airstrike unless they were all camping in the one building (or part of a building because killing everyone in 1 building on "bloc" would just be unfair.

Even a choice of which to use would be good...UAV radar or UAV camera flypass...airstrike of cruise missle strike....chopper or tank (tank would be easier to hit but take more damage before destroying it...chopper would be destroyed easier but harder to hit)

I saw the commercial for this game and I could've sworn I saw submarines doing an underwater battle. Does this mean I will control a sub or am I just gonna man the turrets or whatever?

Not only that, it would also require the maps to be more open with less objects/cover.

Speaking of which, I hope they keep some of the best maps from CoD4, like Crash and Overgrown.

They should keep all the maps, maybe age them like they did in Gears 2 with the Gears 1 maps.

Would depend on the level I think. I don't think they would require anymore scripting than the helicoptors on CoD4 as they always stuck to the same patterns and flew to the same positions.

Granted they'd be a bit pointless of small maps or mostly indoor maps but that's why it'd be good if you got the choice.

Maps from 4 that a tank would've been good on would be overgrown, crash, crossfire, backlot, Chinatown, Ambush, Bog, Countdown and strike

Obviously wouldn't be good on wetwork, vacant, shipment, killhouse, creek, showdown or bloc.

I'd prefer it as a kill streak option than a vehicle like in WaW.

Well no, you would need to script alot more for a tank because it has to navigate the map without clipping through walls, or breaking them down and if they did break them down, you would have no buildings after that.

The helicopter is in the air and can go anywhere.

But the point is they don't go anywhere...They're scripted to follow the same path specific to each level. You can see this more on "ambush" than any other map because they always sit in same places where they are either easy to hit with the MG or just outside the MG's range. The only difference is they're in the air and not on the ground.

Granted a tank would need to react to surroundings more and more so if they were to introduce destroyable enviroments but I don't think it's outwith the game developers ability.

It might not, but the time it would take to do that would be insane. Also the fact that collision detection would be insane, and that every map would be design to allow tanks into it.

It wont be worth it.
