A buddy suggested that it works and they all land back in LA with memories of what happened on the island. and the whole season is about them trying to get back again. The one flaw I see in that plan is Michael and Walt. One is too old the other swore never to return.

they won't try to go back again, thats for sure. Thats what this passed season was all about.

that's why nothing happens... or in this case, what they hoped to do doesn't work... they cause the incident, and now they're thrown back to the present... at least that's what I think will happen 131
