Nah, I agree with that. I do hope they kinda resolve the light issue thing in a satisfactory way.
It'll be interesting to see what's in store for the Lost Universe's future as Disney have already stated that they have big plans for the franchise and that it's just a matter of getting a good creative team behind the project that can do something innovative and different with the concept. It's just a matter of time I guess though I'm hoping they do something soon.
Here's a question actually for you Lost fans; if there was any individual or group you would ever want to be in charge of some kind of new project involving the franchise, as it seems the creative team behind the TV Show have no interest in doing anything else with it, who would it be?
For me the name that first comes to mind is Christoper Nolan. Not only has he already proven that he can create incredibly dramatic and intruiging storylines that are incredibly complex and original to boot (The Prestige, Memento, Following, Inception), but he's also proven himself very much adept at adapting preexisting material to the movie format, from complete movie remakes (Insomnia) to entire books (The Prestige) to short story drafts (Memento) to character concepts (Batman Begins and The Dark Knight). If any movie writer/director would ever be able to adapt the franchise to the movie medium and carry over some of the brilliance of the TV show, staying true to the style and theme of the existing material but also adding a new dimension to it, it's Christopher Nolan in my opinion.
