To be honest I stopped taking most posters seriously here. After the BS I've witnessed...but you haven't been privy to most of that as it doesn't happen in this part of the forum.

Tbh I can't deny that I have in the past hypocritically 'looked the other way' to bolster opinions of people in my side of the political spectrum, and still occasionally do it, but that's mainly because if I laid down my full political opinions I'd be a pariah from the left and the right, and I'm generally more left, so I have to take refuge somewhere

Lol the funny thing is this is true. I used to choose "Chaotic Evil" always. But then I switched to Lawful Evil because Chaotic Evil is essentially "destroy everything, full stop". Sometimes you need to finesse people. It's hard to do that if all you wanna do is cackle and hurl down a fireball/finger of death/meteor swarm.
