Btw you make a new D&D character yet?
Yeah, she's the ex-lover of my last dead hero, who he thought died many years ago but was actually searching for him the entire time (cue waves of tears). Lawful Evil, Drow, Rogue (once a Rogue, always a Rogue). My last guy was Lawful Good (he started as Chaotic Neutral, then developed into Lawful Neutral, then by the start of Curse of Strahd he was Lawful Good), so getting to RP as an actual evil character is pretty fun, and makes sense for this campaign. We weren't allowed to be Evil in the last campaign (The Lost Mine of Phandelver) either

What's the difference between a nerd and a geek?

I would say geeks adhere solely to 100% geeky stuff. A nerd can dip into that shit but also do other stuff.

Don't get me started on D&D, I want to play it more but now that university has broken up we can't play for ages 🙁

Gotta get our online stuff sorted so we can play that way instead

Lol the funny thing is this is true. I used to choose "Chaotic Evil" always. But then I switched to Lawful Evil because Chaotic Evil is essentially "destroy everything, full stop". Sometimes you need to finesse people. It's hard to do that if all you wanna do is cackle and hurl down a fireball/finger of death/meteor swarm.
Yeah Chaotic Evil is a bit much for me. Lawful Evil is cool because you can hatch long, drawn out plans, bend the rules a bit, but still be accepted for the most part

You should really try some Neverwinter nights, for their fan made mods. The community is still going lol, and the game came out in 2002. There is an award winning multi-part series called "A dance with rogues". You play as a rogue, obviously.

It even has it's own tv trope page lol.

Our DM suggested Neverwinter Nights to us too, said it'd be a good way of dealing with D&D withdrawal

And then a dweeb is just a nerd or geek with no intelligence and below zero charm

This is 100% true and hell I'm someone who just tends to do single player mods or if I do multiplayer I play with friends.

But they also have "persistent world" things for NWN that are still ongoing, communities of people.

It's also a great start if you want to ever make your own games. Some NWN mods have truly been epic, far better than the original campaign. Or I have seen people who use it just to get used to writing certain types of stories, etc. because there are cutscenes to create too.

Hell one mod series became a book series lol.

Now that's one hell of a cult following. Kind of reminds me of how peopeopare still modding Morrowind, but to a much higher degree

Wow my autocorrect is going apeshit

Just caught our apartment manager lying to over charge us for our place.

We have subsidized housing because of my daughter's disability and how we have to pour money into that. With the subsidies we pay rent based on our income and we get reevaluated every few months or with a change in income.

They just doubled our rent after I got a $1.50 raise at work. It should never have doubled on that. They are claiming my wife works many more hours than she really does.

My wife just got a hold of the corporate office at work and they have no recent record of our apartment manager getting income verification. They pretty much told us that we're being scammed. She's probably skimming money off the top.

Our neighbor lives off of her social security checks (elderly and disabled) and they just raised her rent through the roof as well.

If this isn't fixed by the next time we pay rent or if they refuse to reevaluate based on new information then there's going to be lawyers involved.
