Yeah there were some high points. Ep 3 is actually a great movie if you skip every scene with Anakin and Padme that doesn't involve him choking her with his mind.
The way that I see the prequels is that they have a lot of great moments, surrounded by a swath of intolerably bad filmmaking. I actually think that The Phantom Menace is a really good political thriller and I love that the downfall of the Republic and rise of the Empire starts with a ****in' trade disagreement. I don't even dislike Jar-Jar that much in retrospect, I more dislike what he represents, i.e. an over-reliance on CGI slapstick and infantile humour.

Attack of the Clones is a ****ing slog though, honestly. So much of that film is cut really badly, overstuffed with 30-second scenes that wipe to another 30-second scene that adds little to the plot proceedings. RotS has some great stuff in it, but again, it's undercut by crap like the abysmal waste of General Grievous and how badly Lucas wrote Anakin (I actually feel bad for Hayden, he might have done a lot better if he has decent lines).

I could go on about the prequels for literally years though so I'll leave it there for now awehuhs

You can always imagine those scenes as him trying to choke her with his d!ck. 😆

I wonder what it says about GL that the only scene between them that wasn't dull involved domestic violence via space wizardry against a pregnant woman lol.

Then she just gives up on life, because f*ck those two babies she just had.

i don't want to relive this pain

i should have never posted that jpg

from now on it's just creep stuff

He aint the only one like that tho 😛

At least GL aint as bad as say, Zach Snider, or heaven forbid Michael Bay.

I believe Lucas should have enlisted his best friend Spielberg to help him out tho.

As for that mine... it looks like he saw something that amused him, before he realised it was something totally abhorrent. Which he proceeded to try and eat.

Now, instead of creep, imagine pain... much reverse horseshoe pain.

Spielberg did help out a bit on Ep 3, it just wasn't on the writing unfortunately.

He also needs people willing to say "no" to him.

True on both counts

I can't figure out which version of the tunnel scene is more disturbing:

It might just be creepier though with Tom and Jerry because they just sit there in horrified silence:

Typical Sheev deflector shield 😛

I feel like all his malice came from the fact his parents decided to name him "Sheev".

Sheev is my main man

No regeneration

I guarantee he turned evil just so he had an excuse to change his name from Sheev to something else. Unfortunately the joke was on him when his master deemed him Darth Sidious. No doubt the guys second choice was Darth Evilness.

Since Sheev himself is an evil a-hole he forces his minions to take on equally shitty names like "General Grievous". Though it seems he spared Vader that fate.

Big words

You see because he can GRIEVOUSLY harm you.

Maul is a pretty cool name too

Indeed, his first choice was Darth Stab, but it was taken.
