Let me give you an example that I know you'll shout racism over. For some, talking about the high murder rate in the black community is not PC. Despite the truth of it, despite the facts, for some it is not PC to say it. For some, it wasn't PC to call radical islamic terrorists...radical islamic terrorists. But a proper label for a thing isn't being an a-hole.
Thing is, we're not going to debate this because it's not up for debate. The meaning has changed to encompass more. Catch up with the times or don't lol. If you want to look foolish okay, no doubt one of your pals will thumb you up regardless.

I will? Lol, this guy. Anyhow. There's nothing inherently wrong with talking about murder rates in whatever communities as facts are facts. The "racism" aspect comes into play when it's done with negative motives. eg "Black people are animals, look how they murder each other". That is racist as its purpose is to be derogatory and it also purposely ignores many societal factors like poverty, systematic racism and oppression black Americans have faced that do in fact come into play regarding those 'statistical facts' on crime rates.

Except again, there have been times when merely talking about the murder rate or crime rate isn't PC. We aren't even talking about internet trolls. People freaked when a cop said african american youths were behind the recent increase in GTA in his area. It was 100% true and he didn't frame it as racist. They still said he shouldn't have said it.
Some liberals flat out asked why radical islamic terrorists need to be named as such, and what it would accomplish. That is too stupid for words.
So the PC thing has gone beyond just "not being a dick". It's irrelevant if you accept this, it has already happened. It's why there is no real debate here no matter how much we discuss it.
