Seriously, if I want to hear good lyrics I'd listen to Tool, Ryan Adams or The Smiths/Morrissey. ****in' Green Day *****.
Well, I listen to them a lot. I relate to Morrisseys lyrics. Sadly, I don't relate to songs about fist****ing and cryptic messages that much. Even if the songs are absolutely amazing and some of the best from the last 20 years.

Stinkfist is only about fist ****ing on the surface.

i love every track including the singles

Nah, I took it as a story that I could relate to in ways. Who gives a **** if it's socially critical, anyone can be socially critical, I can do that myself.

Yeah, well, anyone can write lyrics about politics and theology. Or stories one can relate to. Honestly, Ami-Jay, I wonder about you sometimes.

I love how you managed to avoid admitting that you're moved by Ryan Adams' lyrics. At least, I assume your heart is not of stone.

Yeah. I know. But it's an easy one to pick on. Even though it's one of my favourite Tool songs.
