where I was at was cool. by the yellow sea. they had planned protests almost every week against the base I was at. In S. Korea it's legal to protest but it MUST be pre planned with city officials. They picked Tuesdays at particular hours. if they deviated from the time frame the cops would just show up and beat them with night sticks.
