Rosa parks actually fought for rights for black people. An actual issue of segregation which was disgusting.
Today black people call racist over everything and are ruining all the hard work ppl fought for back in the day because it’s becoming like the Boy who cried wolf
And these days we have black millionaire athletes saying Mike Pence is oppressing them by walking out on their football game.

He can't handle other opinions so badly that he has to storm off in a huff with his fingers in his ears

It'd also diversify the talent who work in TV, so you might end up finding some really great disabled actors who wouldn't have gotten a chance otherwise. I want to write a deaf character into my next project, I think it'd be interesting even just from a writing perspective
Lol so apparently it is true. By 2020 LGBT and disabled people much each constitute 8% of roles.

Indeed and this is what is so hilarious about people. The players could have just pointed to him and said what you just said.
Instead, you have a player claiming he was being oppressed. He could have said "This seems like a PR stunt" and left it there, but nope...SJWs always have to go that extra mile, even when they have something legitimate to build off of.

Well here is the thing, if you want to write in a deaf character go for it. You should not be forced to write in a deaf character though.
But I wonder how far this will be taken though. Like, we have some sitcoms here that are entertaining and feature an all black cast. Under these new rules, would a show like that be possible on the BBC? Or would they have to cast some white characters?
Does this apply to diversity of thought as well? If a show has characters that all lean to the left, will they be made to include some from the right as well? Obviously I know you personally won't be able to answer these questions, I'm just wondering out loud I guess.
Originally posted by SurturI get what you mean about the whole 'forcing' it thing, but in the long run it's for the best for the writers, since they'll get chances to write in ways they hadn't before. If they don't want to write disabled or LGBT characters so badly that they'd rather not write, they're not writers, they're idiots.
