I got a natural 20 so I guess that means I at least last 3 or 4 minutes

To be fair, this forum consists of like 10 members. Even Bardock doesn't come here anymore.

See I got that classic self-deprecation down even though it's untrue

Is this from Eyes Wide Shut?

Good film

It could be, I first heard it on Dr. Who lol. First ep where Jack Harkness appears.

Fats Domino is dead.

Yeah, it's like a bad dream.

Only problem is it's Tom Cruise.

Mate, having Tom Cruise in it makes it even more like a bad dream, so in that way it's even more perfect

I heard. Blasted Blueberry Hill and Ain't That a Shame in his honour.

You are right. Since Kubrick is a genius, I believe this was intentional.

Eyes Wide Shut is a bit too long but tbh I like the idea of seeing it like a dream, it makes some of the more incongruous bits make more sense, like the weird subplot with the costume shop owner and his daughter. That kind of shit really is straight out of a dream-logic scenario.

Yeah for sure, his choice of Cruise and Kidman, the Hollywood Golden Couple of the moment, as the main actors was definitely a purposeful choice
