I had a thing for older women, but now I'm into literally anyone.I still have horrible emotional problems that are more internal battles if anything.
On the plus side, I've gone one whole day sober. Yay.
subdue your emotions dude. **** it all. almost nothing in this life is worth stressing over and you're in no rush to do anything.

maybe but what's the point of piling that guilt onto yourself? and you got to know that women like to change things about men. if it wasn't your drinking it would be something else. it's just the way they are. they like "fixing" things.
if you really like drinking then so what? are you healthy?
you can't hate yourself because others don't approve. you're living your life

"Singer" is definitely an overstatement, but good point. I don't think I could pull off a husky smoker's voice though, I'm no Tom Waits. Wish I was, mind
i've heard from singers who smoke or have smoked that smoking loosens your vocal chords and makes it easier to warm up. so (assuming this sounds familiar to you) if you quit, do it fully and then you can get rid of that dependency and adjust.
