Lol, I think you aren't being honest. You might not know what every single person would think, but you do know what the overall reaction would be and it would not be positive. Because we live in literal Bizarro World.

Feminists whined because she didn't have armpit hair in the latest film.

That's going full retard...and beyond!

It'd make sense for her to have armpit hair to be fair, I don't see when she'd have time to shave, but that's a little thing called 'artistic licence'

Like, for example, a trans-woman playing a cis-woman. It's called acting.

Neat! And how do you think future super hero movies turn out if we apply this "it has to make sense" all across the board?

Fun romps, you think? Well no, Iron man is dead. Captain America would be dead. Bruce Banner would be dead of gamma radiation poisoning.

But hey, at least it would make sense for Captain America to die from being frozen for decades. 👆

Also of course people made from clay have all the same bodily functions as normal folk, it makes sense.

We have to wait til 2019 for a new Bond

Still trying to watch wcw Monday nitro chronologically, some really confusing finishes

Then why does skin color matter? Ever heard of make up?

It's called acting, playing a part.

The water becomes murky, and it isn't as black and white (pun intended, maybe) as 'everyone can play anyone' and 'only specific people can play specific people'. It's a case-by-case basis, assessing as to whether it makes rational sense or not. Blacking up Di Caprio to play Malcolm X. would be irrational due to the wealth of great black actors; maybe the black actor will be played by someone who is Black British, but it makes more sense than doing some weird prosthetics shit to make a white guy black. It's just basic sense.

I literally said, it's artistic licence. I literally agreed with your point. You... got that, right? Right?

Now and then there's a decent match or something interesting, usually on the undercard

But really like there's so much just rubbish and weird stuff that makes no sense

WW isn’t human though, she’s a god.
There isn't a very big acting pool in the god community

Lol we have plenty of great actors both white and black.

So this means all characters who are black need to be black, and all white need to be white, going by the rational you just put forth.

If you couldn't find a white guy to play Human Torch you've failed at life.

You know what I never got, why is the commentators facing away from the ring

I am 100% serious too. If the "there are plenty of great actors" logic flies, you are a literal failure if you couldn't find anyone white to play Human Torch. Not up for debate, you've failed at life.

And right-wingers would go livid if a black guy played a white guy. Your point?

Those right wingers would be labeled racists, is the difference lol. You realize this, yes? That there would be more much stigma for white ringers complaining over that than left wingers whining over the opposite?

The Human Torch choice was clearly a diversity ploy, but it's hardly a major crime in the world of comics. Identity changes a lot in comics, so a black Human Torch is the last thing you should be worrying about in a world of flying fire men. Suspension of disbelief – that was what you were saying about the armpit hair, right? So you think it's silly for people to get angry about armpit hair whilst holding a similarly silly (in your own eyes) opinion?

it's the 'Squirt n Hurt Comedy Houuuuuuurrrrrrrrrr!!!'

And just to nip this in the butt: there is no personal anecdote or saying of wisdom that makes that okay lol. It is what it is, but there is zero justification for it. Not slavery, not Jim Crow, not the man in the moon. Not oscars so white, nada.

You mean Nick Fury?

By the left, yes. And the ones on the left would be labelled whatever you label them by the right.

Where is the difference here? Because you're only furthering my belief that the two major political stances here are ****ing stupid as hell

Actually, I want consistency lol. You whine about a black being cast as white then you pitch a fit over the reverse or stfu.
